Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 327 000 and an average audience lead of 256 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 072 000 (742 000). Home and Away – Late was #11 with 1 008 000 (642 000). The Front Bar – All Sports Edition was #6 with 1 081 000 (462 000). The Latest: Seven News was #23 with 616 000 (341 000). A repeat of Australia: Now and Then had an average audience of 168 000. A repeat of Born to Kill was on 111 000.
The Chase Australia was on 1 191 000 (568 000).
Nine
9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 382 000 (924 000). A new episode of RBY was #4 with 1 376 000 (633 000). A new episode of Emergency was #9 with 1 048 000 (507 000). A repeat episode of RBA (that Nine still calling an encore for some strange reason) was #18 with 716 000 (369 000). 9News Late – Thursday had an average audience of 210 000. A new episode of Chicago Med was on 103 000.
Tipping Point Australia was on 1 031 000 (506 000).

The Project was #22 with 617 000 (265 000). The Dog House Australia was #16 with 761 000 (367 000). A new episode of The Dog Hospital with Graeme Hall had an average audience of 178 000. The show is being pulled from the schedule with 1 episode left to play in the season. A Law & Order: SVU repeat was on 115 000. A repeat of Blue Bloods was on 79 000.
Deal or No Deal had an average audience of 240 000.
ABC
ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #12 with 1 003 000 (613 000). Grand Designs Transformations was #14 with 950 000 (517 000). Martin Clunes: Islands of America was #25 with 606 000 (321 000). A repeat of Fake or Fortune? had an average audience of 201 000.

How the Networks Analysed their Own Performance

NINE
- The 9Network claimed Thursday’s Top 3 programs of the night across the 5 City with People 16-39 as 9News, A Current Affair and RBT secured the network a metro win with the key demos of People 25-54 and 16-39.
- 9News recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.656 million and was the No. 1 news service, as well as the No. 1 program, with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. The BVOD audience for 9News in both cities was double that of its nearest timeslot competitor.
- A Current Affair continued its stellar start to the year as it once again ranked Australia’s No. 1 program at 7.00pm with a National Total TV Reach of 1.382 million and a Total TV National Audience of 924,000, including a BVOD audience of 52,000 on 9Now – up a massive 46.5% year-on-year.
- RBT secured a Total TV National Audience of 633,000. Its BVOD audience was 36,000 – up 41.9% on the corresponding episode last year.
- Tipping Point won the afternoon game show battle in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.031 million and a Total TV National Audience of 506,000. Yesterday’s national audience lifted the timeslot by 28.4% when compared to the corresponding day last year. In Regional Australia, the audience uplift was 32.4% year-on-year.
- Today achieved a National Total TV Reach of 795,000 and was the No. 1 breakfast in Melbourne, where it was 30,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor.
- The 9Network was No. 1 across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54 and 16-39.
9Now was Australia’s No.1 CFTA BVOD service with People 25-54 (51.58%), 16-39 (56.07%), GS 18+ (47.88%) and Total People (47.99%).

The Dog House Australia Reaches 761,000.
Live stream viewers up 19% YoY.
Once again, The Dog House Australia tugged on the heart strings. Last night, widower Lino who lost his wife three years ago and now he’s finally ready to let a furry friend back into his home and heart. Also, typical suburban family the Starkeys are ready for their first family dog, but they had pictured a pooch slightly smaller than Halo the Mastiff cross puppy (pictured). And teenager Lorena is devastated by the recent loss of her dog. Will playful terrier Gracie be just the BFF Lorena needs to navigate the challenges faced by a shy fourteen-year-old girl.
Episode 3 reached 761,000 total national viewers (metro + regional + BVOD) with live stream viewers up 19% on the same episode last year. It was also the #2 show in the 7.30pm timeslot in the key demos of under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
Then The Dog Hospital with Graeme Hall also had its biggest live stream audience of the season.
In primetime,10 Bold was up11% week-on-week overall and in its key demo of over 40s.
Nickelodeon was up 71% week-on-week in its key demo of under 40s.
