Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 105 000 and an average audience lead of 123 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #6 with 1 417 000 (726 000).

Britain’s Got Talent was #11 with 1 020 000 (299 000). Britain’s Got Talent – episode 2 was #30 with 486 000 (191 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 498 000 (99 000). 2024 Australian Swimming Trials – Finals – Day 4 was #8 with 1 287 000 (550 000) on 9 and 9Gem. Casualty 24/7 was #21 with 675 000 (212 000) on 9 and 9Gem.

Thursday Night NRL Live – Pre Match was #15 with 818 000 (443 000) on 9 and 9Gem. Thursday Night NRL Live was #7 with 1 404 000 (560 000) on 9 and 9Gem. Thursday Night NRL Live – Post Match was #31 with 485 000 (211 000).

Law and Order: Organised Crime was #49 with 311 000 (129 000).

The Project was #17 with 792 000 (319 000). Taskmaster Australia was #13 with 923 000 (397 000). A new episode of Law and Order: SVU was #36 with 453 000 (197 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 028 000 (618 000). Restoration Australia was #14 with 920 000 (489 000). Grand Designs UK was #22 with 675 000 (416 000). An encore of Tony Armstrong’s Extra-Ordinary Things was #28 with 525 000 (189 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.965 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.198 million (up 7.8% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 90,000 was up 75.3% year-on-year. In Sydney, the 9News bulletin was 43,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor while the Melbourne bulletin recorded 48,000 more viewers and the Brisbane bulletin achieved 23,000 more viewers. 
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.498 million and a Total TV National Audience of 997,000 – up 5.7% on the same night last year. It secured a BVOD audience of 74,000 – up 72.5% year-on-year. 
  • Thursday Night NRL Live dominated its timeslot across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.404 million, a Total TV National Audience of 560,000 and a BVOD audience of 66,000. 
  • The 2024 Australian Swimming Trials – Day 4, Finals dominated its timeslot across Australia with Total People and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.287 million, a Total TV National Audience of 550,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000.
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.426 million and a Total TV National Audience of 777,000 lifting 52.7% in its timeslot when compared to the same day last year.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 817,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 328,000 – up 7.1% on the same morning last year. Its BVOD audience was 36,000 – up 46.8% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.

9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform across Australia with Total People and all key demographics.

This Season Of Taskmaster Is Up 8% Year-On-Year.

Last week (Thursday 6 June), MasterChef Australia’s special Thursday episode reached 1.41 million total viewers with 7 day audiences. It was the #1 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. Taskmaster scored more viewers, reaching 1.03 million with 7 day audiences.

Last night, Tom Gleeson instructs contestants to ‘get low’, Anne shows off her sporting prowess, and our live task sees contestants disguise their childhood memories with autotune.

Taskmaster Australia:

  • 923,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Up 18% week-on-week.
  • Up 20% in 25 to 54s week-on-week and 11% in 16 to 39s.
  • #2 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • Live stream audience up 25% on 2023 average.
  • Biggest season ever: Total audience (563,000) up 8% on 2023 average.
  • Biggest season BVOD audiences ever: Up 19% on 2023 average.

Deal Or No Deal continued to lift 10’s timeslot by 16% year-on-year and 10 News First was up 4% week-on-week.

10 Peach was up 10% week-on-week and 157% in 16 to 39s. Nickelodeon was up 47% week-on-week and 188% in under 40s.

Taskmaster Australia – Thursdays At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
