Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 264 000 and an average audience lead of 180 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #3 with 1 396 000 (744 000). The movie, Devil Wears Prada was #7 with 1 168 000 (324 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 351 (883 000). Thursday Night NRLW was #10 with 997 000 (219 000) across 9 and 9Gem. A repeat of RBT was #29 with 485 000 (228 000) across 9 and 9Gem. A repeat of 30 Years of The Footy Show was #26 with 516 000 (153 000) across Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

The Project was #15 with 739 000 (307 000). Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia was #11 with 939 000 (388 000). Gogglebox was #12 with 929 000 (572 000).

ABC

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 116 000 (676 000). Foreign Correspondent was #14 with 745 000 (474 000). An encore of Return to Paradise was #23 with 564 000 (208 000).

SBS

Great Australian Walks was #30 with 484 000 (222 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.778 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.086 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 88,000 was up 66% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People . It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.351 million and a Total TV National Audience of 883,000. It recorded a BVOD audience of 66,000 – up 38.7% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.206 million and a Total TV National Audience of 635,000, lifting the timeslot by 49% when compared to the same day last year.
  • NRL Women’s Premiership achieved a National Total TV Reach of 997,000, a Total TV National Audience of 219,000 and a BVOD audience of 21,000.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 731,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 296,000. Its BVOD audience was 33,000 – up 27.9% on the same morning last year.

Seven takes Thursday, 7NEWS #1, Home and Away #1

Last night, everyone’s favourite couch critics were taking a look at what’s on the box, giving their two cents on the week of TV.

Gogglebox:

  • 929,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest audience of the season!
  • Up 7% week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 206% year-on-year.
  • #1 in its timeslot with a 30.6% commercial share.
  • Huge 33.4% commercial share in 25 to 54s.

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly:

  • 939,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Biggest audience of the season!
  • Up 3% week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 60% in 25 to 54s and 29% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.

Other highlights across Network 10 (10, 10 Bold Drama, 10 Peach Comedy, Nickelodeon):

  • Network 10: Up 11% week-on-week.
