Seven

Seven News was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6.30 was #2 with wins in the same markets. Home and Away was #9 with 417 000. There was a split market schedule:

Sydney and Brisbane

A new episode of Border Patrol was on 112 000 in the two markets. A second new episode of Border Patrol was on 102 000. A new episode of Air Crash Investigations aired at 8.30pm for 88 000. The Front Bar aired at 9.30pm for 50 000. The Latest: Seven News was on 35 000.

Melbourne Adelaide and Perth

My Kitchen Rules aired a special Thursday night episode (this episode will be seen Monday night in Sydney and Brisbane on Brownlow night) for an audience of 326 000. The Front Bar aired for an audience of 314 000. Air Crash Investigations was on 104 000. The Latest: Seven News was on 32 000.

The 5 capital city metro combined totals were: The Front Bar (365 000), Air Crash Investigations (192 000) and The Latest: Seven News (68 000).

Nine

Nine News was #3 with a win in Sydney. Nine News 6.30 was #4 with a win in Sydney. A Current Affair was #5 with 596 000 and was #1 in its slot. Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth had a repeat of RBT for 302 000 for the full hour. My Way aired in Brisbane at 7.30 70 000, before going to RBT at 8pm, which is included in the total given for the 4 markets. A repeat of Emergency was #18 with 273 000. Casualty 24/7 was on 171 000. Nine News Late – Thursday was on 104 000.

The Project 6.30pm was #32 with 152 000. The Project 7pm was #19 with 252 000. Gogglebox was #8 with 462 000 and was #1 in its slot and #1 non news program of the night in primetime. The special Sam Taunton: Rooster had an audience of 103 000. An encore of The Cheap Seats was on 66 000.

ABC

ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #10 with 387 000. Foreign Correspondent was #17 with 289 000. Grand Designs: House of the Year was #15 with 306 000. A repeat of Griff’s Australian Rail Trip was on 199 000.

ABC Kids / ABC TV Plus was the #1 multi channel thanks to Would I Lie to You (#1 with 102 000), The Adventures of Paddington (#9 with 85 000), Pfffirates (#10 with 84 000), Shaun the Sheep (#11 with 82 000), Interstellar Ella (#12 with 79 000), Bluey (#15 with 78 000) and QI (#16 with 77 000).

7two was the #2 multi channel thanks to Bargain Hunt (#19 with 75 000), Father Brown (#13 with 78 000) and Miss Scarlet and the Duke (57 000).

  • 9News recorded an average Live BVOD Audience of 52,000
  • A Current Affair won the 7pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane 
  • A Current Affair recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 47,000 (+19% YoY)
  • RBT recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 24,000
  • Emergency RPT won its timeslot with Total People, People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Sydney 
  • Emergency RPT recorded a Live BVOD Audience of 17,000
  • Today was the breakfast show of choice with Total People across the East Coast and in Sydney and Brisbane, as well as with People 25-54, People 16-39 and GS + Child across the 5 City Metro, East Coast and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
