Using Grand Designs on a Thursday night has paid off for the ABC.

#16 Grand Designs: House of the Year – 477 000 (+22%)

#21 Joanna Lumley’s Great Cities of the World (R) – 348 000 (+9%)

TOTAL TV – 25-54

Gogglebox is #1 with 420 000, a rise of 36%. Home and Away is #2 with 294 000, an upswing of 50%. Taskmaster Australia was #4 with 287 000, a lift of 25%. Home and Away – Late was #5 with 283 000, an increase of 55%.

Seven News was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins again in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Home and Away was #8 with 450 000 viewers. Home and Away – Late was #12 with 375 000. Code 1: Minute by Minute was #30 with 165 000. Air Crash Investigations returned with new episodes to an audience of 136 000. The Latest: Seven News was on 85 000. The Front Bar: All Sports Edition had an encore to just 35 000.

Nine

Nine News was #4 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. Nine News 6:30 was #3 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane as well. Thursday Night NRL was #7 with 455 000 viewers across 9 and 9Gem. Nine News Late had an audience of 116 000.

The Project 6:30 had 162 000 viewers. The Project 7pm was #22 with 222 000. Taskmaster Australia was #15 with 309 000. Gogglebox Australia was #9 with 439 000. The special, The Montreal Comedy Festival: Gala All Stars had 119 000 viewers. An encore of Would I Lie to You? Australia was watched by 64 000.

ABC

ABC News was #4 overall but #1 in its slot, as it beat ACA. 730 was #11 with 391 000. Foreign Correspondent was #17 with 259 000. Grand Designs: The Streets was #19 with 243 000. A repeat of Joanna Lumley’s Great Cities of the World was watched by 191 000.
