Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 126 000 and an average audience lead of 94 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #16 with 954 000 (622 000). A repeat of The 1% Club UK was #17 with 903 000 (472 000). The movie, The Butler was #12 with 1 053 000 (191 000).

7NEWS: Cyclone Alfred Latest – 1 439 000 (552 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #11 with 1 115 000 (748 000). Thursday Night NRL – Pre Match was #21 with 824 000 (379 000). Thursday Night NRL Live was #3 with 1 893 000 (789 000). Thursday Night NRL Live – Post Match was #18 with 865 000 (310 000). 9News Late was #45 with 451 000 (240 000).

Deal or No Deal was #43 with 464 000 (248 000). The Project was #25 with 768 000 (307 000). Gogglebox was #10 with 1 115 000 (641 000). The Graham Norton Show was #13 with 1 007 000 (309 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.233 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.369 million – up 34.1% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 147,000 was up 101.4% year-on-year.
  • NRL Thursday Night Footy was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People in Sydney. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.893 million and a Total TV National Audience of 789,000 (up 56.2% year-on-year) . On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 130,000 the highest overnight BVOD for a regular season match – up 113.1% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People in Sydney and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.115 million and a Total TV National Audience of 748,000 – up 6.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 78,000 – up 56.0% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across the 5 City Metro Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.484 million, a Total TV National Audience of 753,000 (up 31.4% year-on-year) and the highest BVOD audience rating in the program’s history – 75,000 – up 114.3% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.138 million, a Total TV National Audience of 463,000 and a BVOD audience of 68,000 – up 112.5% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Thursday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.
