Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach loss of 13 000 and an average audience lead of 13 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #11 with 997 000 (704 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Pre Game was #34 with 479 000 (228 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football was #3 with 1 752 000 (561 000). Kick Ons was on 161 000 (86 000). A repeat of The Disappearance of Gabby Petito was on 196 000 (69 000).

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly – 693 000 (315 000)

Britain’s Got Talent – 579 000 (190 000)

ABC News was #7 for the night. Budget 2025: Opposition Reply was #10 with 1 062 000 (533 000). 730 was #16 with 765 000 (469 000). Grand Designs: 25 Years and Counting was #17 with 723 000 (318 000). A repeat of Grand Designs Revisited was #28 with 544 000 (239 000). A repeat of A Bite to Eat with Alice was on 335 000 (129 000). ABC Late News was on 202 000 (47 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 news service with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In Adelaide and Perth, 9News was the No. 1 bulletin with People 25-54 and 16-39. The combined bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.944 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.179 million – up 35.7% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 106,000 was up 76.7% year-on-year. 
  • In Perth, 9News recorded Total TV Reach of 136,000 and a Total TV Audience of 91,000 – just 4,000 viewers behind its competitor. This marks the highest rating Thursday bulletin of the year in Perth. 
  • NRL Thursday Night Footy was the No.1 program with People 25- 54 and 16-39 in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.482 million and a Total TV National Audience of 650,000 – up 13.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 99,000 – up 30.3% on the same night last year. 
  • A Current Affair won its timeslot with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. In Perth, it won the timeslot with People 25-54 and 16-39. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.168 million and a Total TV National Audience of 761,000 – up 35.4% year-on-year. On 9Now, it claimed a BVOD audience of 63,000 – up 65.8% on the same night last year. 
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.324 million, a Total TV National Audience of 724,000 (up 33.3% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 61,000 – up 90.6% year-on-year. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Brisbane. It claimed a National Total TV Reach of 766,000, a Total TV National Audience of 290,000 and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 23.5% on the same morning last year. 
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Thursday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.

Seven takes Thursday, #1 in news, #1 in sport, 7plus leaps 54%
