Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach audience loss of 77 000 and an average audience lead of 3 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 138 000 (804 000). Home and Away – episode 2 was #14 with 881 000 (714 000). Home and Away – episode 3 was #11 with 953 000 (703 000). The Front Bar was #5 with 1 330 000 (672 000). Unfiltered was #20 with 679 000 (322 000). Kick Ons was #97 with 164 000 (103 000). A repeat of Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera was #98 with 161 000 (55 000).

Sunrise – Early – 549 000 (255 000)

The Chase UK – 367 000 (193 000)

Bridge of Lies – 306 000 (138 000)

A repeat of Law and Order: SVU was #63 with 254 000 (97 000). 10’s Late News was #79 with 198 000 (88 000). An encore of The Cheap Seats was #81 with 192 000 (71 000).

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #6 with 1 208 000 (761 000). Back Roads was #17 with 765 000 (511 000). Grand Designs NZ was #18 with 741 000 (391 000). An encore of Mystery Road: Origin was #38 with 368 000 (144 000). ABC Late News was #92 with 171 000 (46 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It was also the No.1 program of the night with People 25 to 54 in Adelaide. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.011 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.255 million – up 18.8% year-on-year. On 9Now, it claimed a BVOD Audience of 157,000 – up a massive 80.5% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.536 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.010 million – up 7.4% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 118,000 – up a huge 61.6% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People and all key demographics. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.398 million and a Total TV National Audience of 751,000, increasing by 22.9% on the same day last year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience was 88,000 – up an impressive 91.3% year-on-year.
  • Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon (VIC, SA & WA) recorded a National Total TV Reach of 896,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 185,000. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience was 19,000.
  • RBT (NSW & QLD) secured a National Total TV Reach of 807,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 367,000. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience was 51,000.
  • Emergency (NSW & QLD) dominated its timeslot in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 638,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 273,000. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience was 33,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 767,000, a Total TV National Audience of 317,000 – up 5.7% on the same morning last year. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD audience of 50,000 –  up 42.9% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Thursday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54.

 Gogglebox: Some of Australia’s most opinionated and avid TV viewers comment freely on the best and worst television shows they’ve watched over the past week, from the comfort of their living rooms. This week, Goggleboxers watched The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition, The Real Housewives Of London, Off The Grid With Colin And Manu, and Death Cap Murders.   Last night: Reached 1.04 million total national viewers. Biggest overnight total audience of the season. Total audience up 14% vs. season average. #1 in its timeslot.   Season to-date: Reaching 4 million total national viewers.
