Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 147 000 and an average audience lead of 99 000 over 9News. Seven’s Cricket: BBL – Melbourne Renegades v Hobart was #1 with 1 868 000 (432 000). Seven’s Cricket: The Spin was #50 with 261 000 (88 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 228 000 (807 000). Great Getaways was #6 with 1 075 000 (491 000). The season final of Budget Battlers was #12 with 843 000 (359 000). A+E After Dark was #16 with 643 000 (222 000). Captivated was #43 with 311 000 (100 000).

Deal or No Deal was #36 with 365 000 (198 000). The Project was #27 with 498 000 (220 000). Jamie Oliver: Christmas was #17 with 633 000 (234 000). The movie, Mean Girls was #14 with 720 000 (133 000).

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 006 000 (663 000). Long Lost Family: Born Without a Trace was #11 with 888 000 (430 000). Fake or Fortune? was #18 with 633 000 (299 000). Long Lost Family: What Happened Next was #37 with 356 000 (174 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.564 million and a Total TV National Audience of 965,000 – up 2.4% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 73,000 was up a massive 58.7% year-on-year.
     
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.025 million and a Total TV National Audience of 549,000, lifting the timeslot by 26.2% when compared to the same day last year.
     
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia.  It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.228 million and a Total TV National Audience of 807,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 55,000, up 41.0% year-on-year.
     
  • Great Getaways secured its timeslot with People 25-54 in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.075 million and a Total TV National Audience of 491,000 and a BVOD audience of 37,000. 
     
  • Budget Battlers was the program of choice in its timeslot with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia. It registered a National Total TV Reach of  843,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 359,000 and a BVOD audience of 26,000. 
     
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 741,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 286,000. Its BVOD audience was 32,000, up 28.0% year-on-year.
     
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network across the 5 City Metro on Thursday with Total People & Shoppers 18+. 
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday with People 16-39.
