Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 280 000 and an average audience lead of 210 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #11 with 982 000 (684 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Pre Game was #28 with 548 000 (271 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football was #2 with 1 831 000 (671 000). Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football – Post Game was #25 with 598 000 (335 000). Kick Ons was on 269 000 (168 000).

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly – 696 000 (310 000)

  • 9News won the news timeslot with Total People in Sydney and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.774 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.090 million – up 8.1% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 103,000 was up 43.1% year-on-year.
  • NRL Thursday Night Footy won it’s timeslot with Total People in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.488 million and a Total TV National Audience of 555,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 86,000.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.036 million and a Total TV National Audience of 680,000 – up 4.5% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 61,000 – up 32.6% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.293 million, a Total TV National Audience of 693,000 (up 20.1% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 53,000 – up 51.4% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 815,000, a Total TV National Audience of 316,000 and a BVOD audience of 42,000 – up 31.3% on the same morning last year.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Thursday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.
