Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 65 000 and an average audience lead of 75 000 over 9News. The Seven: 7News Year in Review was #12 with 974 000 (503 000). A repeat of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly was #16 with 696 000 (315 000). The movie, In the Line of Fire was #10 with 985 000 (233 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 292 000 (871 000). Great Getaways was #3 with 1 369 000 (572 000). Emergency was #7 with 1 054 000 (495 000). A+E After Dark was #15 with 704 000 (297 000). Captivated was #42 with 317 000 (109 000).

Love Island Australia (9GO) – 294 000 (174 000) with a BVOD audience of 144 000.

Deal or No Deal was #31 with 441 000 (108 000). The Project was #28 with 499 000 (203 000). Top Gear Australia was #21 with 612 000 (203 000). The movie, The Italian Job was #20 with 629 000 (142 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 program of the night across Australia with People 16-39 and People 25-54. It was also the No.1 program of the night across the 5 City with all key demos and Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.597 million and a Total TV National Audience of 992,000. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 75,000 was up an impressive 59.6% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was Australia’s No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos. It was also the No.1 afternoon game show for Total People, GS18+, People 16-39 and People 25-54 across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.121 million and a Total TV National Audience of 610,000, lifting the timeslot by 33.6% when compared to the same day last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demographics across Australia, the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.292 million and a Total TV National Audience of 871,000 up 1.0% on the same night last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 58,000, up a massive 45.0% year-on-year.
  • Great Getaways secured its timelsot with Total People and all key demographics across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of  1.369 million and a Total TV National Audience of 572,000 and a BVOD audience of 39,000. 
  • Love Island Australia recorded a BVOD Audience of 144,000, a National Total TV Reach of 294,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 174,000. 
  • Emergency was a timeslot winner with Total People in Brisbane and Perth and recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.054 million and a Total TV National Audience of 495,000. On 9Now, its BVOD audience was 28,000.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People, GS18+, and People 16-39 in Sydney and Melbourne. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 751,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 318,000. Its BVOD audience was 33,000, up 13.8% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network across the 5 City Metro on Thursday with Total People and all key demographic
