The Voice was #4 with 2 265 000 (984 000). 7NEWS Spotlight was #8 with 1 239 000 (445 000). A repeat of Crime Investigation Australia: Most Infamous was #20 with 605 000 (229 000). Autopsy USA was #48 with 279 000 (111 000).

Supercars Championship: Bathurst 1000 Race – 3 396 000 (1 223 000)

Supercars Championship: Bathurst 1000 D3 Supports / Warm Up – 1 910 000 (513 000)

Nine

9News was #5 for the night. The Block was #3 with 2 414 000 (1 318 000). 60 Minutes was #7 with 1 561 000 (751 000). 9News Late was #17 with 631 000 (321 000).

Prime Minister’s XIII – 711 000 (181 000)

The Sunday Project was #18 with 625 000 (238 000). The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity was #13 with 949 000 (559 000). Gogglebox was #11 with 1 015 000 (390 000). FBI: International was #32 with 375 000 (140 000). A repeat of NCIS was #23 with 527 000 (91 000).

ABC

ABC News was #9 for the night. Return to Paradise was #10 with 1 049 000 (697 000). Unforgotten was #19 with 624 000 (343 000). Better was #42 with 320 000 (139 000).

SBS

SBS World News was #47 with 286 000 (178 000). A repeat of The Lost City of Ramses was #26 with 488 000 (119 000). The Temple of Hatshepsut was #34 with 368 000 (129 000).

  • The Block was the No.1 entertainment program on Sunday night across Australia, 5 City Metro and in all markets with Total People and in the key demographic of People 25 to 54. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.414 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.318 million, and a BVOD audience of 199,000 – up 17.8% on the same night last year.
  • 9News was the preferred news bulletin with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Melbourne. The combined bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.935 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.116 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 89,000 was up 34.8% year-on-year.
  • 60 Minutes secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.561 million and a Total TV National Audience of 751,000. Its BVOD audience was 82,000 – up 49.1% on the same night last year.
  • Prime Minister’s XIII recorded a National Total TV Reach of 711,000, a Total TV National Audience of 181,000 and secured a BVOD audience of 20,000.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Sunday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.

Last night, the race was hotter than ever as our four remaining teams fought for their place in the Grand Finale. Sadly, Pete and Bridget Helliar’s time on the race came to an end after a road block dropped them from an early lead into last place. See media release attached.

The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition:

  • 949,000 total national viewers reached.
  • Up 20% week-on-week.
  • Up 30% in 25 to 54s, 29% in under 50s and 14% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot audience by 101% year-on-year.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever! 141,000 viewers, up 19% vs 2023 series average.

Gogglebox:

  • 1.02 million total national viewers reached.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 48% week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 70% in 25 to 54s, 63% in under 50s and 60% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot audience by 103% year-on-year.

Other highlights across Network 10 (10, 10 Bold Drama, 10 Peach Comedy, Nickelodeon) last night:

  • Network 10: Up 24% week-on-week.
  • Network 10: Up 43% in 25 to 54s, 37% in under 50s and 31% in 16 to 39s week-on-week.

  • 10 Bold: Up 46% week-on-week and 54% in its key demo of over 40s.
  • 10 Peach: Up 64% in its key demo of 16 to 39s.
  • Nickelodeon: Up 17% week-on-week.
  • 10 News First: Up 12% week-on-week.
  • The Sunday Project: Up 20% week-on-week.

7-day Total Viewing Audience (6 October):

  • The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition: reached 1.14 million total viewers.

Week 41 (6-12, October):

  • The Socceroos v China match reached 1.2 million viewers with a 456,000 national average audience, the biggest Socceroos match audience since March 2022.
  • The match had the biggest live stream audience ever for a Socceroos match (49,000).
  • The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition is averaging a total national audience of 781,000, level with last year and is having its biggest ever BVOD audiences up 19% on 2023.
  • Nickelodeon continues to grow, up 10% in prime time and the second half of the year.
  • 10 Play grew 28% year-on-year last week and is up 36% across the year to date.
