Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach loss of 103 000 and an average audience lead of 9 000 over 9News. Australian Idol – Sunday was #4 with 2 106 000 (987 000). The Hunters was #12 with 1 081 000 (390 000). A repeat of Ivan Milat: Buried Secrets was #29 with 562 000 (171 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. Married at First Sight – Sunday was #1 with 3 229 000 (1 843 000). 60 Minutes was #5 with 1 791 000 (860 000). 9News Late was #25 with 633 000 (384 000).

The Sunday Project was #21 with 718 000 (246 000). Australian Survivor was #13 with 1 011 000 (555 000). Matlock was #30 with 559 000 (232 000).

ABC

ABC News was #9 for the night. Muster Dogs: Collies and Kelpies was #10 with 1 103 000 (708 000). The Newsreader was #28 with 588 000 (313 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program on Sunday night across Australia with all key demographics and Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 3.229 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.843 million – up 6.4% year-on-year. It achieved a BVOD audience of 493,000 – up 20.0% year-on-year.
  • 9News Sunday was the No.1 news bulletin across the 5 City and in Sydney with all key demos and Total People. It was also the No. 1 program with Total People and GS18+ in Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.586 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.533 million – up 32.5% year-on-year. It achieved a BVOD audience of 150,000 – up 64.8% year-on-year.
  • 60 Minutes dominated its timeslot with Total People across Australia and in all metro capitals. It also won with all key demos in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.791 million and a Total TV National Audience of 860,000 – up 8.3% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 115,000 – up 16.2% on the same night last year
  • Sunday Afternoon NRL secured its timeslot with Total People in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.366 million and a Total TV National Audience of 516,000 up 13.7% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 70,000 – up 70.7% year-on-year and the highest rating regular season Sunday match (excluding Vegas).
  • Weekend Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne. It secured a Total TV National Audience of 393,000 and a BVOD audience of 53,000 – up a massive 130.4% on the same morning last year
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Sunday across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Sunday across Australia with all key demos and Total People

Seven grows, 7NEWS on top, Australian Idol up 12%

·       Seven: total TV reach up 13% year-on-year

·       7plus: jumps 43% year-on-year

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 41.8%
