Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach audience loss of 191 000 and an average audience lead of 87 000 over 9News. Dancing with the Stars was #4 with 1 814 000 (943 000). 7NEWS Spotlight was #6 with 1 281 000 (586 000). A repeat of Crime Investigation Australia: Most Infamous was #15 with 708 000 (326 000). The Crow Girl was on 213 000 (78 000). The season final of The Crow Girl was on 81 000 (38 000).

Seven’s AFL: Sunday Afternoon Football – 713 000 (189 000)

Sunday Footy Feast – 658 000 (130 000)

Weekend Sunrise – Sunday Early – 515 000 (239 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. The Block – Launch was #1 with 2 700 (1 303 000). 60 Minutes was #5 with 1 471 000 (684 000). World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 – Finals was #17 with 662 000 (232 000). 9News Late was on 324 000 (159 000). The First 48 was on 194 000 (94 000). A repeat of Embarrassing Bodies was on 111 000 (49 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in all five capital cities. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.700 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.303 million – up 17.7% year-on-year and its highest rating launch episode since 2022. It recorded a  BVOD Audience of 174,000 – up 28.9% year-on-year. 
  • 9News Sunday was the No. 1 program across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No.1 bulletin with People 25-54 and 16-39 in Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.513 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.540 million. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 146,000.
  • 60 Minutes won its timeslot with Total People across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.471 million and a Total TV National Audience of 684,000. On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 77,000.
  • Sunday Afternoon NRL won its timeslot across Australia with Total People and People 25-54. It dominated its timeslot in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People and all key demographics. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.175 million and a Total TV National Audience of 527,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 71,000 (up 10.9% year-on-year).
  • Weekend Today won its timeslot with Total People and all key demographics in Melbourne. It registered a Total TV Reach Audience of 770,000, a Total TV National Audience of 279,000 and a BVOD Audience of 36,000.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Sunday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Sunday across Australia with Total People and all key demographics.

Sunday, 27 July.  MasterChef Australia Cooks Up Biggest Week Of The Season. In Week 30, MasterChef Was Up 7% On Its Season Average.  
  MasterChef Australia: Back To Win: The very first and the most recent winners of MasterChef Australia, Julie Goodwin and Nat Thaipun, return to the kitchen for a two-round elimination that determined this year’s Top 5. They each presented a pantry of ingredients that made up their winning finale dishes, and the four cooking contestants selected one pantry to produce a winning dish. The two dishes which least impressed were sent to Round 2, where used the opposite pantry to produce a dish to save their spot in the competition. 1.03 million total national viewers reached. #2 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Sunday, 20 July): Reached 1.28 million total viewers.   10: Yesterday, 10 reached 3.73 million Australians across broadcast and streaming, up 20% vs. the same night in 2024.   Last night, 10’s total national audience was up 45% and its BVOD audience was up 105% vs. the same night last year.   Week 30, 2025: 10’s total national audience up 5% year-on-year. 10 is achieving itsbiggest year ever, up 32% year-on-year. Claimed 2 of the top 4 programs on commercial BVOD last week. MasterChef Australia achieved its biggest weekly overnight audience, up 7% on its total national audience series average.
