Seven News was #4 for the night with a reach audience loss of 469 000 and an average audience lead of 217 000 over 9News. Australian Idol – Sunday was #5 with 1 783 000 (911 000). The Mystery of The Lady in the Lake was #8 with 1 386 000 (381 000). A repeat of The Hunters was #41 with 419 000 (141 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 3.399 million and a Total TV National Audience of 2.118 million – up 5.2% year-on-year and the highest Total TV National Audience in VOZ history. It also claimed its highest Total TV Audience in VOZ history in Brisbane (327k) and Regional (548k). On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 711,000 – up an impressive 28.8% when compared to the same day last year.
  • 9News Sunday was the No. 1 news bulletin with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 news bulletin with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Adelaide. The combined national bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.629 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.557 million (up 12.8% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 250,000 was up a massive 92.3% year-on-year.
  • Sunday Afternoon NRL – Vegas Opener won its timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.519 million and a Total TV National Audience of 647,000 and a BVOD audience of 131,000 (up 61.7% year-on-year).
  • 60 Minutes was a timeslot winner with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It was the No. 3 program of the day with People 25-54 and People 16-39 across Australia. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.296 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.042 million – up 16.3% year-on-year and a BVOD audience of 215,000 – up 87.0% on the same night last year.
  • Weekend Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 872,000, a Total TV National Audience of 301,000 – up 8.3% year-on-year and a BVOD audience of 52,000 – up a huge 67.7% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Sunday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Sunday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.

History was made in Perth last night as the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ opened with a spectacular and record-breaking Opening Ceremony at Perth Stadium, delivering the highest-attended match in AFC Women’s Asian Cup history and 10’s biggest football match since June 2024.

AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™:
• Reached 1.8 million total national viewers (including pre, match and post).
• #1 sport in 16 to 39s and 25 to 54s in average total national viewers.
• Biggest football match on 10 since Matildas V China PR in June 2024.
• Up 84% vs. 2025 average.
• #2 in its timeslot.

10:
• Reached 3.89 million across broadcast and streaming.
• 10’s total national audience was up 17% vs. the same night last year and up 46% in streaming.

Week 9:
• 10 Streaming is having its biggest start to a year – up 38% year-on-year.
• 10 streaming attracted 1.94 million active users in February – up 10% YOY.
• Australian Survivor: Redemption has reached 2.76 million, with its biggest ever streaming audiences.
• Gogglebox Australia was #1 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s and averaging its biggest ever streaming audience (up 46% on H1 2025).
