The 2023 Australian Open Day 6 – Night powered to #2 with 234 000 fans, a rise of 13%. The movie on Seven, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was #6 for the evening with 139 000, a rise of 5%.

Seven News – Saturday was #3 with a clean sweep in all markets. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League: The Qualifier was #9 with 308 000 fans.

Nine

Nine News Saturday was #4 with no wins in any market. The 2023 Australian Open Day 13 – Women’s Final – Presentation was #1 with 851 000 fans. The 2023 Australian Open Day 13 – Women’s Final had 762 000 watching. Other results included:

#6 2023 Australian Open Day 13 – Men’s Doubles Final – 447 000

#7 2023 Australian Open Day 13 – Women’s Final – Pre Match – 398 000

10 could not compete at all against Tennis on Nine and Cricket on Seven. Jamie Oliver: Together had 112 000 viewers. FBI: International had 92 000 viewers. A second episode of FBI: International had 82 000. NCIS: Los Angeles had 82 000 viewers as well.

ABC

ABC News Saturday was #5 for the night. Call the Midwife held up well considering, at #8 with 346 000. A repeat of Midsomer Murders was #10 with 252 000 viewers.

With major sport across the primary channels, it was a quiet night on the multi channels with 3.2% high enough for a win. 7mate’s major contribution was the Cricket which was played in full in Perth on 7mate. One segment ran in Brisbane and Adelaide as well whilst Seven News was screening in those markets. 9Gem can thank the very old My Fair Lady for the win as well as some segments of the Tennis whilst Nine News was on for some markets. 10 Peach was second thanks to a night of re runs for The Big Bang Theory and Friends.
