Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach loss of 206 000 and an average audience loss of 33 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 382 000 (915 000). Dancing with the Stars – Finale was #6 with 1 928 000 (889 000). The season final of Alert: Missing Persons Unit was #35 with 506 000 (210 000).

The Latest: Seven News was on 205 000 (115 000).

Gem Hunters Down Under was at #47 with 322 000 (149 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 for the night with 1 969 000 (1 251 000). The launch episode of the 20th season of The Block was #1 with 2 540 000 (1 108 000). A prime time replay of Olympic Games Paris 2024 – Closing Ceremony was #7 with 1 836 000 (309 000).

Olympic Games Paris 2024 – Closing Ceremony – Live was #4 with 2 245 000 (577 000).

Tipping Point Australia returned with 1 590 000 (795 000) which was a reach lead of 200 000 and an average audience lead of 103 000 over The Chase Australia.

The Project was #22 with 862 000 (370 000). The new season premiere of Hunted was #13 with 1 214 000 (516 000). Have You Been Paying Attention? was #19 with 1 022 000 (602 000). A new episode of Ghosts was #37 with 486 000 (220 000).

10’s Late News was on 191 000 (106 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11. 730 was #12 with 1 217 000 (753 000). Australian Story was #18 with 1 059 000 (749 000). Four Corners was #14 with 1 196 000 (832 000). Media Watch was #23 with 832 000 (709 000). Q+A returned at #27 with 697 000 (346 000).

ABC Late News was on 265 000 (66 000).

  • The Block Season 20 launch dominated the 7.30pm timeslot across Australia, in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and with all key demos in Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.540 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.108 million On 9Now it recorded a BVOD of 135,000 (up 14.4%).
  • 9News was the no. 1 news program across the 5 City Metro with Total People as well as the No.1 news program in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and with all key demos in Adelaide.The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.486 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.446 million (up 19.1% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 116,000 was up 81.3% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point won the afternoon game show battle across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.590 million and a Total TV National Audience of 795,000 representing a 54.4% timeslot lift when compared to the same day last year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.969 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.251 million – up 19.7% year-on-year. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD audience of 102,000 – up 59.4% year-on-year.
  • Today was the No. 1 breakfast program across Australia with Total People as well as the No.1 breakfast program in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.116 million and a Total TV National Audience of 555,000 (up 68.7% year-on-year). Its BVOD audience was 74,000 – up 174.1% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was No.1 network across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.

9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform across all key demos and Total People

Fugitives And Comedians Have Key Demos Paying Attention!

Hunted #2 Entertainment Show In 16 to 39s, Reaches 1.21 Million.

Last night, the launch of Hunted: The Million Dollar Heist,had audiences yelling at their TVs. Hunted was followed by Australia’s favourite 8.30pm show, Have You Been Paying Attention?.

Last night on Hunted, we met nine pairs of ordinary Australians who, right before your eyes, transformed into real life fugitives and undertook the unthinkable – a bank robbery. It was a modern-day bank heist as the Fugitives broke into a bank and stole money, before making their getaway to disappear without a trace. Their goal is to make it to the extraction point in 20 days and if they evade capture, the money is theirs to keep.  

Hunted: The Million Dollar Heist:

  • 1.21 million total national viewers reached.
  • Lifts 10’s timeslot 10% week-on-week. Lifts 93% in 16 to 39s and 44% in 25 to 54s.
  • #2 entertainment show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • #2 in its 7.30pm timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s – ahead of Seven’s Dancing With The Stars.

Saddling into the hot seats this week on Have You Been Paying Attention? were Kitty Flanagan, Felicity Ward, Lloyd Langford, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang.

Have You Been Paying Attention?:

  • 1.02 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 7% week-on-week.
  • #1 in its timeslot in under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s with strong shares heads above the competition.
  • 36.6% commercial share in 16 to 39s and 32.4% in 25 to 54s.
  • #3 entertainment show in 16 to 39s.
  • Season-to-date: 990,000 national total audience, up 1% on 2023 average.
  • Season-to-date:Biggest BVOD audiences ever (115,000), up 26% on 2023 average.
