Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 193 000 and an average audience lead of 127 000 over 9News. My Kitchen Rules was #4 with 1 642 000 (874 000). The Rookie was #17 with 877 000 (388 000). S.W.A.T was #40 with 396 000 (178 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. The Block was #2 with 2 033 000 (1 102 000). A Current Affair was #5 with 1 609 000 (1 000 000). Bali 2002 was #11 with 1 182 000 (313 000).

Deal or No Deal was #35 with 445 000 (234 000). The Project was #19 with 719 000 (296 000). Dessert Masters was #15 with 970 000 (366 000). Have You Been Paying Attention was #10 with 1 205 000 (729 000). An encore of Top Gear Australia was #28 with 566 000 (148 000).

ABC

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 310 000 (773 000). Australian Story was #14 with 984 000 (628 000). Four Corners was #13 with 999 000 (616 000). Media Watch was #20 with 690 000 (561 000). Q&A was #29 with 556 000 (239 000).

SBS

SBS World News was #50 with 301 000 (180 000). Into the Amazon with Robson Green was #49 with 303 000 (137 000).

  • The Block continues to dominate the 7.30pm timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.033 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.102 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 167,000, up 6.1% on the same night last year. 
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin with Total People in Sydney and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.952 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.207 million (up 15.5% on the same night last year). Its BVOD audience of 98,000 was up 66.4% year-on-year. 
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.609 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1 million (up 2.2% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 87,000 (up 37.9% on the same night last year).
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.268 million and a Total TV National Audience of 659,000, lifting the time slot by 67.8% when compared to the same day last year. Its BVOD audience was 49,000.
  • Today was the preferred breakfast program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 810,000 and Total TV National Audience of 325,000. Its BVOD Audience was 38,000 – up 40.6% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Monday with People 25-54 and People 16-39. 
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with People 25-54 and People 16-39.

Dessert Masters Reaches 1.38M Viewers & Have You Been Paying Attention 1.44M.

It was sweet 7-day success for the launch of Dessert Masters and Have You Been Paying Attention? last week, with viewers streaming our Monday line up on 10 Play.

7-day Total Viewing Audience (Monday, 14 October):

  • Dessert Masters – Launch: reached 1.38 million total viewers.
  • Have You Been Paying Attention? reached 1.44 million total viewers and was the #2 show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.

Last night, contestants were stunned to find out they had to somehow incorporate movement into their dish – it might drip, turn, float, ooze or dissolve, but it must also be delicious.

Dessert Masters:

  • 970,000 total national viewers reached.

On Have You Been Paying Attention? Irish comedian, actress and screenwriter Aisling Bea graced the podium last night buzzing in alongside good company, with season regulars Guy Montgomery, Celia Pacquola, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang. Quizmaster Tom Gleisner corralled the crew and checked who had been adequately attentive.

Have You Been Paying Attention?

  • 1.21 million total national viewers reached.
  • #1 in its timeslot.
  • Massive commercial shares with 42% in under 50s, 41.9% in 16 to 39s and 41.3% in 25 to 54s.
  • Series: Biggest BVOD audiences ever! 110,000 viewers, up 21% compared with the 2023 series average.

  • 10 BOLD Drama: Up 22% week-on-week and 13% in its key demo of over 40s.
  • 10 Peach Comedy: #1 multi-channel in under 50s and 25 to 54s.
