ABC’s Monday is starting to take shape in terms of regular programming with ABC News, 7:30 and Back Roads.

#5 ABC News – 849 000 (+3%)

#8 730 Summer – 707 000 (+5%)

#9 Back Roads – 649 000 (+16%)

#12 Under Cover – 501 000 (+13%)

SBS

#29 SBS World News – 219 000 (+3%)

TOTAL TV – 25-54

The Bachelors Australia was #1 overall with 355 000, a rise of 66% and actually beat Home and Away. The favourite soap was #2 overall with 332 000, an uplift of 52%.

10 had more shows and higher rankings in this demo than in total people, with The Project #8, Ghosts at #14 and FBI: Most Wanted at #27.

Seven News was #1 with wins in all markets. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in all markets. Home and Away was #9 with 488 000 viewers. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Hobart v Sydney Sixers was #16 with 241 000 viewers. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Hobart v Sydney Sixers Post Game was #20 with 227 000.

Nine

Nine News was #5 with no wins in any market. Nine News 6:30 was #4 with no wins again in any market. The 2023 Australian Open Day 8 – Night was #3 with an excellent viewership of 730 000. Other results from the Open included:

#7 2023 Australian Open Day 8 – Night Session 2 – 489 000

#12 2023 Australian Open Day 8 – Night Pre Match – 350 000

2023 Australian Open Day 8 – Day – 159 000

2023 Australian Open Day 8 – Late – 139 000

The Project 6:30pm started the evening with an audience of 176 000. That audience built across the hour with The Project 7pm at 259 000 viewers. The Bachelors Australia was #14 with 277 000 viewers. The show is doing well on BVOD with the show reaching its highest audience this season in live streaming last night. 10 screened two episodes of Ghosts, which were a little disjointed. Episode 8 in season 2 had 102 000 viewers at around 8:45pm. Episodes 9 and 10 had previously been screened as they were a two part Christmas special that 10 aired in December. Episode 11 in season 2 had 74 000 at around 9:15pm. It seems 10 will now pull the show from the schedule with nothing programmed for the next 2 weeks at least. FBI: Most Wanted had a new episode with an audience of 67 000.

ABC

ABC News was #6 for the night. 730 Summer was #10 with 419 000. Back Roads was right behind at #11 with 378 000. ABC aired the special, Bradman and Tendulkar to 239 000 viewers at #17.

7two was #1 thanks to a #1 position for Doc Martin. The multi channel was also helped by Bargain Hunt and Inspector Morse. 7mate tied with 10 Bold with the Big Bash League airing in most markets whilst Home and Away was on the main channel. The movie, Get the Gringo was #20 with 64 000 viewers. 10 Bold had a repeat episode of NCIS at #2 and #9. A repeat of Bull also did well at #3 with 95 000 viewers.
