Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 178 000 and an average audience lead of 139 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 313 000 (905 000). My Kitchen Rules was #4 with 1 628 000 (946 000). Twisted Twins? was #14 with 988 000 (360 000). S.W.A.T was #40 with 377 000 (148 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 620 000 (1 022 000). The Block was #1 with 2 167 000 (1 192 000). Power to the People: America Votes was #6 with 1 410 000 (401 000). Race to the Melbourne Cup Carnival was #29 with 527 000 (153 000).

Deal or No Deal was #33 with 465 000 (258 000). The Project was #20 with 729 000 (307 000). Dessert Masters was #21 with 717 000 (311 000). Matlock was #15 with 976 000 (514 000). Five Bedrooms was #37 with 411 000 (166 000).

ABC

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 303 000 (830 000). Australian Story was #13 with 1 012 000 (759 000). Four Corners was #12 with 1 023 000 (635 000). Media Watch was #18 with 805 000 (642 000). Q+A was #17 with 869 000 (367 000)

  • The Block was the No.1 entertainment program on Monday night across Australia, the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with all key demos and Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.167 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.192 million, increasing the timeslot by 11.2% compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, its  BVOD audience of 178,000 – was up 38.8% on the same night last year.
  • Power to The People: America Votes won the 9.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia, the 5 City Metro and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. The combined bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.410 million and a Total TV National Audience of 401,000. It also registered a BVOD audience of 48,000. 
  • 9News was the preferred news bulletin with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.932 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.164 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 94,000 was up 91.1% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia, the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.620 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.022 million. Its BVOD audience was 87,000 – up 33.1% this time last year.
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show at 5.00pm with Total People across Australia. It also won the afternoon timeslot in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.232 million and a Total TV National Audience of 642,000, lifting the timeslot by 66.9% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of  47,000 was up 152.4%  on the same night last year. 
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 778,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 315,000. Its BVOD audience was 36,000 – up 39.1% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with key demos People 25-54 and 16-39.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with all key demos and Total People.

Seven on top, 7NEWS #1 in news, MKR hits a five-year high
