Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach audience lead of 67 000 and an average audience lead of 50 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 426 000 (929 000). Dancing with the Stars – Grand Finale was #5 with 1 806 000 (937 000). 9-1-1 was #20 with 749 000 (349 000). The Agenda Setters was on 292 000 (97 000). A repeat of Police Custody USA was on 109 000 (39 000).

The Chase UK – 444 000 (218 000)

The Agenda Setters (7mate) – 177 000 (88 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 892 000 (1 260 000). The Block was #3 with 2 050 000 (1 082 000). 100% Footy aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #23 with 707 000 (200 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #28 with 611 000 (177 000). Opal Hunters: Red Dirt Road Trip was #49 with 323 000 (123 000). 9News Late was on 200 000 (122 000).

Players (Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth) – 226 000 (71 000)

10 News+ was #35 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #32 with 515 000 (287 000). MasterChef Australia was #11 with 1 119 000 (637 000). Have You Been Paying Attention was #13 with 1 083 000 (665 000). An encore of Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #21 with 745 000 (202 000). 10’s Late News was on 165 000 (108 000).

ABC

ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 296 000 (846 000). Australian Story was #15 with 949 000 (672 000). Four Corners was #14 with 1 033 000 (588 000). Media Watch was #18 with 764 000 (591 000). Planet America was #16 with 851 000 (544 000). ABC Late News was #34 with 501 000 (127 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.050 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.082 million – up 7.0% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 189,000 – up 21.0% year-on-year.
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.240 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.452 million. On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 151,000.
  • A Current Affair was a timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.892 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.260 million. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 136,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.556 million and a Total TV National Audience of 856,000. On 9Now its BVOD Audience of 85,000.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with People 16-39 in the 5 City Metro. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 794,000, a Total TV National Audience of 312,000. On 9Now its BVOD audience was 47,000.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54 and 16-39.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with all key demos and Total People.

     MasterChef Australia: Back To Win: The final four contestants gambled on an ingredient to secure themselves a spot in the Semi Final. Sadly, Depinder’s undercooked egg, meant she had to say her farewells, but was suitably proud of how far she went in the competition. The Semi Finalists for Season 17 are now set – Callum Hann, Jamie Fleming and Laura Sharrad.   Reached 1.12 million total national viewers. Biggest Streaming audience of the season (75,000). Streaming audience up 25% on season average. Season-to-date: Reaching 10.5 million total national viewers. #2 in timeslot in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Monday, 28 July): Reached 1.31 million total viewers.   Have You Been Paying Attention?: Denise Scott was back by popular demand and was joined by familiar faces Daniel Connell, Alex Ward, Chris Parker, and Ed Kavalee. Quizmaster Tom Gleisner was back at the helm firing off the questions.   Reached 1.08 million total national viewers. #1 in its timeslot in the key demos of 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. Strong commercial shares with 40.6% in 16 to 39s and 38.6% in 25 to 54s. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Monday, 28 July): Reached 1.53 million total viewers. Season-to-date: Reaching 7 million total national viewers. Biggest total audience since 2022!  
10: Network 10’s national total TV audience was up 29% on same night last year.
