Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 15 000 and an average audience lead of 62 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #11 with 1 275 000 (852 000). Australian Idol – Monday was #5 with 1 715 000 (886 000). Suits LA was #26 with 701 000 (242 000). An evening encore of The Oscars was #37 with 523 000 (101 000).

Oscars Red Carpet – 531 000 (337 000)

Beat the Chasers UK (R) – 512 000 (264 000)

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 931 000 (1 153 000). Married at First Sight – Monday was #1 with 2 949 000 (1 827 000). Footy Classified was #16 with 932 000 (216 000). Rise of the Dolphins was #13 with 1 042 000 (161 000).

Tipping Point UK (R) – 635 000 (352 000)

Deal or No Deal was #41 with 494 000 (285 000). The Project was #19 with 870 000 (334 000). Australian Survivor – Monday was #17 with 910 000 (559 000). A repeat of NCIS: Sydney was #38 with 521 000 (164 000). A repeat of NCIS was #35 with 536 000 (108 000).

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 276 000 (845 000). Australian Story was #15 with 986 000 (705 000). Four Corners was #12 with 1 119 000 (702 000). Media Watch was #18 with 891 000 (724 000). Q+A was #22 with 766 000 (332 000).

SBS

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night across Australia and in all five metro capitals with all key demos and Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.949 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.827 million – up 11.7% year-on-year. On 9Now, it achieved a BVOD audience of 512,000 – up 32% year-on-year.
  • 9News won its timeslot with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.183 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.320 million (up 12.5% on the same night last year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 129,000 was up 51.8% year-on-year. 
     
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with all key demos and Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.931 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.153 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 137,000 – up 31.7% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across all five metro capitals with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.472 million and a Total TV National Audience of 785,000 – up by 68.4% when compared to the same day last year.
  • Footy Classified – Monday achieved a Total TV National Audience of 215,000 and a BVOD Audience of 31,000. In Melbourne, it achieved a Total TV Average Audience of 118,000. *Vic, WA & SA only. 
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 851,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up 34.4% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with all key demos and Total People.

7NEWS on top, Australian Idol rises, 7plus soars 43%
