Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 95 000 and an average audience lead of 64 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 446 000 (905 000). Farmer Wants a Wife was #5 with 1 603 000 (833 000). 911 Lone Star was #19 with 868 000 (364 000). The Agenda Setters was #36 with 431 000 (166 000). Suits LA was on 254 000 (99 000).

Nine

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 775 000 (1 147 000). The Floor – Launch was #2 with 2 222 000 (1 171 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #25 with 663 000 (190 000). 100% Footy aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was #24 with 679 000 (212 000). 9News Late was on 205 000 (98 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane was on 217 000 (87 000). Players aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was on 237 000 (73 000).

Deal or No Deal was #32 with 535 000 (309 000). The Project was #16 with 930 000 (371 000). MasterChef Australia – Launch was #8 with 1 392 000 (676 000). Sam Pang Tonight was #14 with 1 019 000 (499 000). An encore of Taskmaster Australia was #30 with 539 000 (164 000). 10’s Late News was on 151 000 (75 000).

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #10 with 1 288 000 (800 000). Australian Story was #15 with 953 000 (642 000). Four Corners was #12 with 1 150 000 (652 000). Media Watch was #18 with 887 000 (704 000). Q+A was #17 with 923 000 (385 000). ABC Late News was #41 with 397 000 (89 000).

  • The Floor – Launch was the highest rating new series launch in VOZ history. 
  • The Floor – Launch was Australia’s No. 1 entertainment program with Total People and all key demos, winning with Total People in all five metro markets. It was also the No. 1 program of the night with People 25-54 and the No. 1 entertainment program with People 16-39 across Australia. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.222 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.171 million and a BVOD audience of 112,000. 
  • 9News was the No. 1 program and No. 1 news bulletin with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No. 1 program and No. 1 news bulletin with People 25-54 in Adelaide and Perth. The combined national bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.206 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.400 million (up 9.1% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 128,000 was up 40.7% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.775 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.147 million – up 10.9% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 101,000 – up 36.5% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.502 million and a Total TV National Audience of 804,000 (up 7.6% on the same day last year). On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 71,000 – up a massive 54.3% year-on-year.
  • 100% Footy registered a Total TV National Audience of 212,000 and a BVOD Audience of 27,000. It was the top rating NRL magazine program nationally on Monday night.
  • Footy Classified – Monday achieved a Total TV National Audience of 190,000 and a BVOD Audience of 13,000. In Melbourne, it achieved a Total TV Average Audience of 106,000. It was the top rating AFL magazine program nationally on Monday night.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne. It was also the preferred breakfast program with the key demographic of People 25-54 in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 821,000, a Total TV National Audience of 319,000 and a BVOD audience of 31,000.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 Network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.

Reached 1.39 Million Total National Viewers.

Last night’s premiere of MasterChef Australia: Back To Win saw 24 returning contestants back for another shot at the trophy. Gordon Ramsay greeted them to announce that they were splitting into three teams and taking on a service challenge. The green team led by Callum Hann won the challenge and will tonight cook for a prize that everybody wants to get their hands on.

On Sam Pang Tonight, Luke McGregor was the guest announcer with special guests Glenn Robbins, Tony Armstrong and Courtney Act. Plus, Sam revealed Anne Edmonds as the new host of Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen.

MasterChef Australia: Back To Win:
• Reached 1.39 million total viewers.
• Biggest MasterChef Launch in 25 to 54s since 2023!
• 25 to 54s total audience up 3% on 2024 launch.
