Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach audience loss of 122 000 and an average audience loss of 93 000 over 9News. A repeat of Border Patrol was #12 with 1 049 000 (578 000). A repeat of Why Planes Vanish: The Hunt for for MH370 was #11 with 1 066 000 (379 000). The Rookie was #27 with 607 000 (278 000). Alert: Missing Persons Unit was #43 with 365 000 (164 000). A repeat of Why Trains Crash was #74 with 210 000 (60 000).

Sunrise – Early – 531 000 (261 000)

The Chase UK – 432 000 (230 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 587 000 (1 052 000). A repeat of Travel Guides was #2 with 2 016 000 (792 000). The movie, Crocodile Dundee II was #6 with 1 405 000 (382 000). 9News Late was #49 with 317 000 (197 000). A repeat of Transplant was #93 with 172 000 (65 000).

10 News+ was #38 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #26 with 624 000 (350 000). Big Brother Australia was #13 with 1 045 000 (638 000). Sam Pang Tonight was #9 with 1 132 000 (426 000). Just for Laughs Australia was #41 with 392 000 (207 000). A second episode of Just for Laughs Australia was #69 with 219 000 (122 000). 10’s Late News was #107 with 150 000 (87 000). An encore of 10 News+ was #113 with 136 000 (50 000).

ABC

ABC News was #7 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 274 000 (768 000). Australian Story was #18 with 784 000 (566 000). Annabel Crabb’s Civic Duty was #15 with 897 000 (539 000). Media Watch was #22 with 635 000 (536 000). Planet America was #19 with 689 000 (464 000). An encore of I Was Actually There was #63 with 251 000 (130 000). ABC Late News was #87 with 180 000 (60 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across the Australia with Total People. It was also the No. 1 news bulletin in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People . It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.070 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.366 million (up 10.1% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 174,000 (up 83.2% year-on-year).
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.587 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.052 million and a BVOD Audience of 129,000 (up 69.7% year-on-year).
  • Travel Guides encore won its timeslot nationally with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.016 million, a Total TV National Audience of 792,000 and a BVOD audience of 90,000.
  • Love Island Australia was Australia’s No. 1 program of the night for People 16-39. It was also the No. 1 BVOD program of the night with Total People across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 632,000, a Total TV National Audience of 449,000 (up 93.5% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 399,000 (up an incredible 116.8% year-on-year). 
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show for Total People and all key demographics across Australia. It registered a Total TV Reach Audience of 1.469 million, a Total TV National Audience of 814,000 (up 14.5% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 97,000 (up 86.5% year-on-year).
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice in Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. It registered a Total TV Reach Audience of 823,000, a Total TV National Audience of 343,000 and a BVOD Audience of 49,000 (up 36.1% year-on-year).
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Monday across Australia with People 16-39.
