Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach tie of 1 993 000 and an average audience lead of 53 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #6 with 1 386 000 (906 000). My Kitchen Rules was #3 with 1 777 000 (1 053 000). The final of Twisted Twins was #12 with 988 000 (413 000). S.W.A.T was #42 with 378 000 (158 000).

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 594 000 (1 065 000). RBT was #5 with 1 536 000 (634 000). Murder Down Under was #11 with 1 062 000 (426 000). A Killer Makes a Call was #27 with 601 000 (229 000).

9News Late – 307 000 (166 000)

Chicago Med – 213 000 (75 000)

Love Island Australia (9GO) – 316 000 (166 000) with 129 000 on BVOD

Deal or No Deal was #36 with 456 000 (266 000). The Project was #19 with 723 000 (300 000). Dessert Masters was #16 with 894 000 (369 000). Matlock was #17 with 849 000 (447 000). Five Bedrooms was #38 with 436 000 (174 000).

10’s Late News – 154 000 (83 000)

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #8 with 1 263 000 (746 000). Australian Story was #15 with 920 000 (622 000). The Space Shuttle That Fell to Earth was #14 with 952 000 (499 000). Media Watch was #22 with 655 000 (518 000). Q+A was #20 with 687 000 (266 000).

ABC Late News – 247 000 (57 000)

A Bite to Eat with Alice – 301 000 (178 000)

SBS World News was on 274 000 (170 000). SBS World News 7pm was on 300 000 (128 000). Into South America with Nick Knowles was on 281 000 (98 000). 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown was #47 with 329 000 (125 000). Never Mind the Buzzcocks was on 295 000 (72 000).

  • 9News was the No.1 program of the night with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.993 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.202 million. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 96,000 was up 65.5% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia, the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.594 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.065 million. Its BVOD audience was 77,000 – up 45.3% this time last year.
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show at 5.00pm with Total People across Australia. It also won the afternoon timeslot in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.284 million and a Total TV National Audience of 681,000, lifting the timeslot by 55.8% when compared to the same day last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 50,000 was up 117.4% on the same night last year. 
  • Love Island Australia was the highest rating BVOD program yesterday, securing a National Total TV Reach of 316,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 166,000 – up 12.2% on the same day last year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 129,000 – which was up 14.2% on the same day last year. 
  • RBT achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.536 million, a Total TV National Audience of 634,000 and a BVOD audience of 52,000. 
  • Murder Down Under: Bodies In The Barrels recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.062 million and a Total TV National Audience of 426,000. It also registered a BVOD audience of 35,000. 
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 825,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 331,000. Its BVOD audience was 35,000 – up 25.0% on the same morning last year.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with Total People and all key demographics.

Fans Tune In To A Masterclass From The Dessert Master.

Dessert Masters Up 23% Week-On-Week. Matlock Remains 10’s Biggest Scripted Drama Of The Year.

Last night’s Dessert Masters elimination challenge began with an exclusive Amaury masterclass that sees the pastry master demonstrate four of his signature techniques.

Dessert Masters reached 894,000 total national viewers. It was up 23% on last Monday night’s episode, and up 56% in 16 to 39s and 52% in 25 to 54s.

Matlock remains 10’s biggest scripted drama of the year, reaching 849,000 total national viewers last night. It was #2 in its timeslot. It was up 23% on it’s launch episode last week.

2024 MTV EMAs reached 265,000 total national viewers last night on 10 Peach Comedy and 10 Play, up 312% compared with 2021.

Other highlights:

  • Network 10: Up 6% in 25 to 54s week-on-week.
  • 10: Up 11% week-on-week.
  • 10 News First: Up 6% year-on-year.
