Seven News was #1 with wins in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6.30 was #2 with wins in the same markets. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – Melbourne Renegades v Adelaide was #13 with 360 000. The late movie, Unforgiven was on 40 000.
During the day, Seven’s Cricket: Second Test – Australia v Pakistan topped the non news rankings with 602 000 viewers.
Nine
Nine News was #3 with win in Melbourne. Nine News 6.30 was #4 with a win in the same markets. A Current Affair was #11 with 400 000, but did not screen in Brisbane. Tennis coverage of the United Cup attracted 143 000 across Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Perth saw the Night Session on 9Gem. All markets had the Night Session – Late on the main channel for 70 000 viewers.

A repeat of Bondi Rescue was on 78 000. The Project 6.30pm was on 81 000. The Project 7pm was on 115 000. A repeat of Thank God You’re Here was on 102 000. A repeat of The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers was on 48 000. The movie, Rambo: Last Blood followed.
ABC
ABC News was #8 for the night. A brand new Death in Paradise Christmas Special was #9 with 420 000. A repeat of of the Doc Martin Christmas Special was #14 with 291 000. A repeat of the farewell episode of Doc Martin was on 179 000.
