Better Homes and Gardens was #1 non news in prime time with 164 000 viewers, a rise of 6% and sat at #5. Gardening Australia was #6 with 160 000, an upswing of 47%. For the Love of Pets was #14 with 92 000, a lift of 11%.

Seven News was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Better Homes and Gardens was #8 overall, but the #1 non news show in primetime with 347 000. It officially tied with Gardening Australia but with rounding, Better Homes was the winner. A repeat of the movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service was #13 overall, but #1 after 8:30 with 248 000 viewers. A late night encore of Australia Idol was watched by 52 000.
Nine
Nine News was #4 with a win in Sydney. Nine News 6:30 was #3 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. A Current Affair was #6 with 461 000 and sat behind ABC News in the slot. For the Love of Pets was #12 with 255 000 viewers. The classic Australian movie, Muriel’s Wedding ran at 8:30 to an audience of just 120 000. The late movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 had 73 000.

The Project 6:30 had 143 000. The Project 7pm was was on 157 000. The Graham Norton Show was #18 with 192 000. An encore of Taskmaster Australia was watched by 93 000. An encore of Would I Lie to You Australia was watched by 63 000. A repeat of Just for Laughs Australia was on 49 000, followed by a repeat of Just for Laughs Uncut on 44 000.
ABC
ABC News was #5 overall, but #1 in its slot. Gardening Australia was #9 for the night and tied Better Homes with 347 000. With rounding, the show came off second. A repeat of Van Der Valk was on 240 000. This was the season final of the show. ABC’s Friday night will be strengthened next week with the premiere of the final season of Endeavour. ABC continued with repeating the first season of The Larkins with 97 000 watching episode 5. ABC Late News cut in for 58 000, then the season final (episode 6) of The Larkins aired to 46 000.
