TOTAL TV
Seven News was #1 overall with 1,218 000 viewers, up 2%. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 at 1,179 000, up 3% Better Homes and Gardens was up 4% to 621 000. The movie, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel increased its audience by 4% to 367 000. Earlier in the day The Chase Australia 5pm was on 427 000, up 4%, whilst the 5:30pm half hour was up 3% to a big 669 000. Seven News at 4 was on 265 000, up 2%, whilst the 4:30pm half hour increased to 295 000, up 2% as well. Sunrise had an uplift of 5% to 408 000. Even Sunrise – Early made the top 30 at 254 000, up 5%.
Nine News was #3 for the night, rising 4% to 885 000, whilst Nine News 6:30pm also rose 4% to 870 000. A Current Affair was up 4% to 465 000. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was on 456 000, up 4%. The late movie Mechanic: Resurrection was up 4% to 319 000. Earlier Hot Seat 5pm was on 320 000, up 3%, whilst the 5pm portion was on 451 000, also up 3%. Nine’s Afternoon News was up 3% to 354 000. Today increased 6% to 293 000.
10’s best was at #20 with The Living Room on 352 000, up 7%. The Project 7pm was up 4% to 330 000. 10 News First had an uplift of 2% to 325 000. The Graham Norton Show is struggling in its new season, although there was a 12% increase for a total audience of 263 000. The Bold and the Beautiful made it to #30 at 251 000, up 7%.
ABC News had 729 000, which was an uplift of 4%. Gardening Australia performed strongly and was #1 non news in prime time at 635 000, up 17%. All Creatures Great and Small was massive in Total TV with 570 000, up an impressive 54%/ Frankly was #14 at 427 000, up 14%. An encore of Fisk was on 422 000, up an astonishing 151%.

Analysis 
Nine News was best for Nine at #3 for 587 000 viewers and had a win in Sydney. Nine News 6:30 was #4 at 570 000 with no wins in any market. ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was #5 at 490 000. The late movie, Atomic Blonde was watched by 202 000 viewers.
Seven News was #1 overall and wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 had a clean sweep with wins in all markets. Better Homes and Gardens was #9 with 338 000 viewers. The Second Best Marigold Hotel had 197 000 viewers.
The Project at 6:30pm had 173 000 viewers, but that number rose to 260 000 at 7pm. The Living Room had 237 000 viewers. The Graham Norton Show had 177 000 viewers.
Gardening Australia was #7 overall on 362 000. Frankly was solid for ABC on 277 000. All Creatures Great and Small on 261 000 was also strong.
