Analysis for Total TV (14 October, 2022) and Overnight (21 October, 2022) ratings.
TOTAL TV
Seven News was #1 overall with a total audience of 1, 283 000 viewers, an uplift of 3%. Better Homes and Gardens was #1 non news (#8 overall in prime time non news) with 662 000, up 6%. The movie Ladies in Black rose 5% for 385 000 viewers.
Nine News was best for Nine and #3 overall for the night with 965 000, up 4%. A Current Affair was up 5% to 741 000. Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo had an uplift of 9% to 450 000. The movie Apollo 13 rose 6% to 263 000.
The Project at 6:30pm rose 4% to 255 000, whilst the 7pm portion rose 4% to 336 000. The Living Room was up 7% to 348 000 as it moves towards the end of the series. A repeat of Have You Been Paying Attention rose 15% to 313 000.
ABC News was up 4% to 751 000. Gardening Australia was up 16% to 636 000 and sat in the rankings just behind Better Homes and Gardens. Frankly was up a positive 16% to 384 000.

Analysis
Nine News was second in all markets last night with 612 000. A Current Affair was second in its slot behind ABC News with 492 000. Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo had 277 000. Interesting that there was a bigger audience for the show in Melbourne rather than in Sydney where Taronga Zoo is based. The movie, The Intern had 268 000 for Nine.
Seven News had a clean sweep – being #1 overall for the evening and winning in all markets. Better Homes and Gardens was #1 non news at 397 000. The movie, Knives Out had 191 000 viewers.
The 7pm portion of The Project had 223 000 viewers for 10. The Living Room built on that audience for 244 000 viewers. The Graham Norton Show returned to the 10 schedule with 206 000, which based on its lead in, was a good performance. An encore of Monday’s episode of Have You Been Paying Attention had 144 000 viewers.
ABC had 385 000 for Gardening Australia, followed by 322 000 for Frankly. All Creatures Great and Small had 282 000.It is worth pointing out that the ABC combo of Frankly and Creatures had more viewers than either of the movie offerings on Nine and Seven.\
