Better Homes and Gardens was #5 overall, but #1 non news with 254 000 viewers, a rise of 9%. An encore of Taskmaster Australia was #6 with 170 000, an upswing of 48%. The Project 7pm was #11 with 115 000, a lift of 5%. The Graham Norton Show was #12 with 115 000, an increase of 12%.

Seven
Seven News was #1 with wins in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Better Homes and Gardens was #8 with 368 000 viewers, but sat 9000 viewers behind Gardening Australia. The movie, The Martian had 153 000 viewers at 8:30. 54 000 viewers stayed up late to watch an encore of the premiere of Maternal – a show which has been bumped from its slot already.
Nine
Nine News was #4 with a substantial win in Brisbane. Nine News 6:30 was #3 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. A Current Affair was #6 and sat behind ABC News in the slot with 452 000 viewers.
There seems to be a coding error with ‘For the Love of Pets’ which Nine screened at 7:30pm. The show does not appear in the OzTam top 20 programs at all. However, Nine suggests it rated #10 for the night with 320 000 viewers. If so, that would be a strong figure for the show, putting it within a whisker of Gardening Australia and Better Homes and Gardens.
The premiere movie, The Penguin Bloom was watched by 210 000 and appears to be #2 in the slot behind Van Der Valk on the ABC. The movie premiere of The Glass Castle had 81 000 viewers.

The Project 6:30pm had 152 000 viewers. The Project 7pm was at 193 000. The Graham Norton Show was #15 for the night with 221 000 viewers. An encore of Taskmaster Australia had 104 000 watching. A repeat of The Graham Norton Show followed with 85 000. A repeat of Just for Laughs Australia had 66 000 and then a repeat of Just for Laughs Uncut had an audience of 47 000.
ABC
ABC News was #5 for the night overall, but #1 in its slot. Gardening Australia was #7 with 377 000 and was #1 for the night non news in primetime and beat Better Homes and Gardens. A repeat of Van Der Valk was #11 with 229 000. With the ABC set to premiere the new season of The Larkins on Saturday nights soon, the network was replaying season 1 with episode 3 on 93 000. ABC Late News ran for 77 000 and then ABC returned for episode 4 of The Larkins to 59 000.

7two was #1 last night thanks to Escape to the Country’s new episode attracting 127 000 viewers. A repeat episode of Escape to the Country had 68 000. Border Patrol had 56 000 and Bargain Hunt had 53 000.
10 Bold was second with NCIS on 91 000. A repeat of Bull was on 69 000 and NCIS: Los Angeles was on 59 000.
