Seven News was #5 for the night with a reach audience loss of 284 000 and an average audience lead of 89 000 over 9News. Better Homes and Gardens Summer was #9 with 1 377 000 (541 000). The movie, Kingsman: The Golden Circle was #11 with 1 151 000 (274 000).

9News was #4 for the night. 2026 Australian Open Day 13 – Night Pre Match was #6 with 1 845 000 (1 307 000). 2026 Australian Open Day 13 – Night was #1 with 3 657 000 (1 974 000). 2026 Australian Open Day 13 – Night Session 2 was #2 with 3 209 000 (1 757 000). 2026 Australian Open Day 13 – Late was #8 with 1 526 000 (1 111 000). A repeat of Chicago Med was #7 with 1 646 000 (1 044 000). Antiques Roadshow was #14 with 985 000 (571 000). A repeat of Law and Order: Organized Crime was #15 with 966 000 (692 000). Next Stop was #16 with 804 000 (605 000). A repeat of M*A*S*H was #29 with 540 000 (334 000). Home Shopping was #21 with 661 000 (202 00).

2026 Australian Open Day 13 Night Session was Australia’s No. 1 program on Friday by reach and average audience, featuring the epic ending to Carlos Alcaraz’s semi-final winner over Alexander Zverev, achieved a National Total TV Reach of 3.657 million viewers, a National Total TV Average Audience of 1.974 million (up 84% on the same night last year) and a BVOD audience of 427,000 – up a massive 160% year-on-year.

2026 Australian Open Day 13 Night Session was the second highest non-final session since night 11 of the 2022 Australian Open (Ash Bart’s semi-final victory) for Total TV.

2026 Australian Open Day 13 Night Session 2 with Novak Djokovic’s incredible five set win over defending AO champion Jannik Sinner, recorded a National Total TV Reach of 3.209 million, a National Total TV Average Audience of 1.757 million (up 66% on the same night last year) and a BVOD audience of 456,000 – up a whopping 152% year-on-year.

2026 Australian Open Day 13 Day Session featured Aussie duo Olivia Gadecki and John Peers victory in the mixed double’s final, achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.522 million, a National Total TV Average Audience of 611,000 and a BVOD audience of 135,000 – up a huge 125% year-on-year.

The 9Network dominated Friday viewing across Australia with all key demos and Total People.9Now recorded the No.1 CFTA shares on Friday with all key demos and Total People.
