Fetch TV Launches Six New Channels in Australia Alongside Crunchyroll – Fetch TV today announced major enhancements of its content offering, with six new channels launching for the first time in Australia on Fetch, alongside the debut of the Crunchyroll streaming app, bringing the world’s largest anime library to Australian households.

These additions reinforce Fetch’s commitment to deliver more variety and better value in home entertainment.

Six New Channels Launching in Australia on Fetch

Beginning 1 September, Fetch subscribers to the Ultimate Pack will gain access to all six new channels, while subscribers to the Variety, Vibe and Kids packs will receive the selected channels available in their respective pack.

The new line-up includes the Australian launch of Moonbug, four new Stingray music channels (Stingray Loud, Stingray Retro, Stingray Country and Stingray Hits), and premium factual channel Declassified, offering something for every member of the household.

● Moonbug launches in Australia with Fetch as launch partner

For the first time on Australian television, much-loved children’s favourites from Moonbug Entertainment – including CoComelon, Blippi, Little Angel and more – will be available on the big screen through the dedicated Moonbug channel on Fetch.

The new channel provides a safe, ad-free environment where kids can enjoy fun and educational content, giving parents peace of mind about what their children are watching.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the very first Moonbug Channel to Australia. Partnering with Fetch TV makes it possible for us to share the fun, music and stories that kids already love with even more families across the country. We can’t wait for Australian parents and children to enjoy these shows together for the very first time,”

– said Nicolas Eglau, Managing Director EMEA, APAC & Global Distribution at Moonbug Entertainment.
● Fetch expands music offering with four new Stingray channels, exclusively

Stingray Loud, Stingray Retro, Stingray Country, and Stingray Hits deliver a genre for every taste and moment. From rock anthems and nostalgic throwbacks to country vibes and chart-topping hits, Stingray channels now give Fetch subscribers more ways to enjoy music at home.

“We’re pleased to grow our partnership with Fetch and bring even more music variety to Australian households,”

– said David Purdy, Chief Revenue Officer of Stingray.

“The new channels give us a powerful platform to connect with music lovers of all ages and tastes.”

● Declassified – untold stories of war and history

Rounding out the expansion is Declassified, a premium factual channel launching for the first time in Australia, on Fetch. The channel explores warfare, military strategy, intelligence, and history – from historic battles and covert operations to modern-day intelligence and defence. Declassified offers gripping documentaries that bring untold stories to light and give Fetch subscribers a powerful new destination for premium factual programming.

“Declassified goes behind the headlines to uncover the stories of warfare, intelligence, and history that have shaped our world. We’re excited to bring this compelling and premium content to Australian audiences on Fetch,”

– Jon Penn, Managing Director APAC – Blue Ant Media.
Fetch TV CEO, Dominic Arena said

“This investment in world class content reflects our commitment to delivering the best value and broadest entertainment for Australian households. We’re proud to launch these six new channels in Australia, giving families more for less – more variety, more value, and more reasons to choose Fetch as their best value all-in-one entertainment hub.”

Crunchyroll Streaming App Now Available on Fetch

Fetch is partnering with Crunchyroll, the global anime brand, to launch a dedicated application on its platform, bringing a vast library of anime series, movies, and simulcast content to Australian homes. Accessible with a Crunchyroll subscription, this partnership provides Fetch subscribers direct access to the world’s largest anime library of over 39,000 episodes across 1,600+ titles, including popular series like One Piece, JUJUTSU KAISEN, My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

The addition of Crunchyroll into the Fetch ecosystem offers a streamlined and unified viewing experience for Australian households, further reinforcing Fetch’s commitment to delivering affordable family entertainment experiences and cementing Fetch as a premier home entertainment hub. The app will be available to all Fetch subscribers, allowing them to sign in with their existing Crunchyroll credentials or trial the service through the Fetch platform.

“Australian audiences can now experience and enjoy the Crunchyroll streaming service directly on their TV screen, integrated into the Fetch UX. This is a significant milestone for us and an exciting addition for our subscribers particularly the growing number of anime fans in Australia,”

– said Fetch TV CEO, Dominic Arena.
Terry Li, EVP Emerging Businesses at Crunchyroll, added:

“Australia is home to one of the most passionate anime communities in the world, and with Fetch we’re making it easier than ever for fans here to enjoy the very best of Japan straight into living rooms across the country. This partnership is all about celebrating that passion and making anime more accessible than ever for Australian fans.”

The Crunchyroll app has been available on Fetch Gen 5 Mini devices since 27 August 2025, with subscriptions at $10.99 (Fan) or $13.99 (Mega Fan) per month. The six new channels launched on 1 September 2025. They are included in the Ultimate Pack at or the Vibe, Variety, and Kids, packs, with prices starting at $7.99 per month.
