The returning, original series include:
Wildlife ER Season 4 (6 x 60’)
Producer: WildBear Entertainment
Wildlife ER season 4 follows the passionate and highly skilled team of vets, vet nurses, and volunteers at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital on Australia’s Gold Coast. From koalas battling chlamydia and piloting a groundbreaking vaccine program, to injured marine birds and rescued reptiles fighting their way back to the wild, each episode reveals the challenges, triumphs, and heartwarming recoveries behind the hospital’s doors. This intimate, uplifting series celebrates the people on the front lines of conservation and the remarkable resilience of the animals they care for.
Boss Shark: Whale Hunter (w/t) (1 x 60’)
Producer: WildBear Entertainment Dr. Riley Elliott is on a mission to uncover a previously unrecognized life stage of Great White sharks that sees them break free from their coastal hunting strategies to take on the largest animals on earth. Science has already established that as great whites grow, they transition through different sizes of prey.
Younger and smaller great whites preferentially hunt fish, squid, and stingrays near the bottom of the water column. But as they grow larger, their energy demands multiply. They move their predatory focus onto seals and sea lions. These two life stages are well known. But Riley believes there’s a third stage – where the largest and most aggressive great whites metamorphose into whale hunters.
