Western Australia’s epic scenery, vast blue skies, and frontier energy have become central to that appeal. Combine that with the fact that Australia is one of the world’s major gold producers, and you have the perfect mix of drama, scale, and authenticity,”

The series is a juggernaut which has provided long periods of stable employment for many Western Australian screen practitioners as well as great training and career advancement opportunities. Over many seasons I’ve worked across a wide range of roles: starting in post-production, moving through story producing, and then out into the field directing and shooting on location. This combination of acquired skills and experience led to more senior responsibilities, and eventually to Series Producer”
