2024 AACTA Awards tickets now available – The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) invite you to the Sunshine State for an unforgettable celebration of Australian Film, Television, Documentary, Short Film and Digital Production.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 AACTA Industry Awards on Thursday 8 February and the AACTA Awards Ceremony on Saturday 10 February. Both ceremonies, presented by Foxtel Group, will be held at the Home of the Arts (HOTA) on the Gold Coast, a destination renowned for its beauty and vibrant cultural scene.

For the first time ever, the AACTA Awards will be held in the Gold Coast, combining sun, surf, and cinematic excellence into a spectacle unlike any other. These ceremonies will honour the outstanding creatives and stars who have contributed to the finest films, TV series, and digital content of the past year, shining a spotlight on Australia’s exceptional productions and brightest screen talents.

In a first for the AACTA Industry Awards, the ceremony will take place in the afternoon, followed by the Official After Party presented by Screen Queensland. This revised format offers the perfect opportunity for industry practitioners and attendees to celebrate, connect, and toast to another successful year of brilliant Australian content and storytelling, well into the night.

To mark the historic move to the Gold Coast, the Australian Academy are excited to announce the launch of the AACTA Festival – a four-day extravaganza surrounding the AACTA Industry and AACTA Awards Ceremonies.

The festival will feature masterclasses, exclusive screenings, meet-and-greets, thought-provoking panel discussions, valuable networking events, and more. It’s the perfect chance to immerse yourself in the world of Australian entertainment and connect with like-minded industry professionals at the ultimate screen-lovers festival! More details on the AACTA Festival, including the full program of events, will be announced soon.

Whether you’re a filmmaker, actor, producer, student, or an avid fan of Australian entertainment, this is a festival you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars, get your tickets, and prepare for a year like no other in the Australian screen industry. Get ready for the 2024 AACTA Awards and AACTA Industry Awards on the Gold Coast and stay tuned for more details on AACTA Festival.

AACTA CEO, Damian Trewhella said,

“We are excited to bring the Australian screen industry together to celebrate on the Gold Coast. The 2024 AACTA Awards and Industry Awards herald a celebration of our nation’s best screen practitioners and storytellers. This year, the AACTA Industry Awards will be held as an afternoon event, followed by the Official After Party presented by Screen Queensland. It’s a chance for everyone in the industry to come together, celebrate, network, and raise a glass to another year of fantastic Australian content as part of the new AACTA Festival.”

Amanda Laing, Chief Commercial and Content Officer at Foxtel Group said,

“We are honoured to once again be presenting partner of these prestigious Awards and invite everyone to secure your spot and join us as we celebrate the world-class film and television being produced by our fabulous creative industry in Australia. We’ll make our mark on the global awards season as we showcase the strength of Australian storytellers, talent and creatives at this important event.”

“When we dream big, we deliver and the AACTA Awards are the biggest and brightest celebration of cinematic excellence,” said Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate.

“If you want to say, ‘I was there for the first Gold Coast AACTAs’, grab your tickets today. It’s going to be one huge party.”

Jacqui Feeney, CEO Screen Queensland said:

“For the first time, Australia’s pinnacle screen industry awards, the AACTAs, will draw renowned industry leaders and practitioners from across the nation into the heart of Queensland’s thriving screen production sector. The Gold Coast is the ideal destination for the awards and the inaugural AACTA Festival, which will connect and engage local filmmakers and film fans alike.”
