Woolworths Carols in the Domain – Australia’s largest festive event – is turning 40 this year!
To celebrate, you’re invited to share in the magic of Christmas as stars such as: The Wiggles, Leo Sayer, Mark Vincent and Rachael Beck, take to the stage to bring audiences an unforgettable night of festive cheer, under a sea of candlelight in Sydney’s iconic Domain on Saturday, 17th December.
It wouldn’t be Carols without the world’s most popular children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles! The Wiggles have become a household name, entertaining millions of families across the globe for over 30 years. Incredibly, this is the 31st year that The Wiggles have performed at Carols, and Carols couldn’t be happier to have them back on stage, in our 40th year, spreading Christmas joy to families near and far.
Joining in this milestone celebration is Grammy award-winning artist, Leo Sayer, who needs no introduction, with a stellar career spanning five decades, he is adored by young and old. A treasured friend of Carols in the Domain, Leo is the consummate musical artist and will no doubt bring his vibrant, festive energy to the stage.
From winning Australia’s Got Talent as a fresh-faced 15 year old to having nine consecutive albums reach #1 on the ARIA charts, Australians can’t get enough of the emotive voice of Australian tenor Mark Vincent. This year at Carols, Mark will perform his signature Christmas classics which will captivate the nation.
Adding to the 40th anniversary all-star line-up of artists is acclaimed vocal artist and actress, Rachael Beck. Rachael is a multi-faceted, award winning powerhouse whose talents span across stage and screen. From starring in the hit musical Beauty and the Beast to working as passionate performing arts educator, Rachael will delight the audience with a celebratory Christmas number!
More incredible performers will be announced in the coming weeks, and there will of course also be a special visit from the man in the red suit himself – Santa Claus!
