Kevin McCloud, Mary Portas and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall take the fight to the heart of British government, demanding change that could unlock a greener economy, create cheaper energy, and lower utility bills.
Episode One:
Kevin, Mary and Hugh hear from some of the country’s foremost climate experts that the government’s performance on climate change is appalling. Fired up by the government’s fearmongering on net zero, Kevin heads to the Swedish town of Vaxjo to find out what a carbon free life looks like.
Episode Two:
Mary discovers the government are giving oil and gas more than £2 billion in tax breaks every year, and tries to hold Chancellor Jeremy Hunt to account. Hugh can’t get a meeting with the Energy Secretary to discuss the blocks to onshore wind, so starts a poster campaign calling him out.
