Simmone Logue is a baker, workshop host, cookbook author and renovator. In 1990 she turned her passion for cooking into a small business that grew into a catering business and now her products are available in supermarkets Australia wide. Along with her twin sister, she bought Essington Park 30 years ago and restored it to its former glory, giving her a beautiful country retreat from her busy career. With the rise of K-pop, a lot of kids are getting into Korean food, but if your kids don’t want to jump in at the deep end, Ed has a recipe to ease them in gently. With mincemeat and onions, it starts to look quite familiar, but it’s traditional Korean flavours that really give it its edge. Combine all that with some hamburger buns and you’ve got what our American friends call Sloppy Joes. But whatever you call it, it’s sure to please.
