Researchers are making exceptional discoveries that suggest the existence of ancient, multiple and complex civilizations that are completely unknown. But who were the human communities that lived there? What were their cultures, their beliefs? And why have they sunk into oblivion?
A vast investigation, led by archaeologist Stéphen Rostain, a pioneer of Amazonian research, and director of research at the CNRS, takes us from the depths of the Guyanese jungle to the shores of the Amazon and reveals the little-known past of these pre-Colombian civilizations.
