Hospitals across the region are beginning to experience significant delays and at James Cook Hospital, crewmates Jo and Julie are one of eight ambulance officers waiting to hand over their patient.

An emergency call is received with reports of a high-speed collision, persons trapped and a patient in critical condition.
Twenty miles away, Jo and Julie are dispatched to another category one emergency -a five-year-old boy has fallen from a quad bike.
