MasterChef Australia on 10 – You’ve Never Seen Judges Like This. MasterChef Australia. Premieres Monday, 22 April At 7:30pm On 10 And 10 Play.
In 2024, the recipe for MasterChef Australia is looking a little different. Joining Andy Allen on the judging panel this year are three fresh faces: Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
As runner up in the first ever season of MasterChef Australia, Poh proves that you don’t need to win, to win. By her own acknowledgement, there’s a part of Poh that will always belong on the contestant side – making her the perfect mentor and guide for this year’s budding home cooks.
You’ve never seen a foodie like Sofia. She writes, she travels, and she knows the culinary world inside out. She hasn’t just dedicated her life to food, she’s dedicated her life to eating. Whether it’s wanting to savour every single bite or “smoosh her face” into a delectable dish, Sofia can’t resist a moreish morsel and has the vocab to match her insatiable appetite.
To use one of his own phrases, Jean-Christophe adds a certain “Je ne sais quoi” to the competition. While you can expect plenty of “Ooh la la”s and “Va va voom”s from this French-born, multi-Michelin star-awarded chef, it’s his years of expertise and leadership that make Jean-Christophe a true extraordinaire.
Welcoming our illustrious lineup to the kitchen is beloved judge, Andy Allen. A former MasterChef Australia winner, and a judge with years of experience under his belt, Andy leads our new family through the next chapter of MasterChef Australia with heart, authenticity, and open arms.
