As previously speculated by TV Central, 10 has removed NCIS: Los Angeles from the schedule effective immediately, despite this being the final season of the US drama’s 14 year run.
The show will be replaced by new episodes of Blue Bloods, returning to the schedule this Saturday 11 March at 7:30pm.
If 10 had of continued the series, the show would have caught up to US scheduling and Australian viewers would have received the finale, close to US broadcast.
This is an ususual move given the series ratings were on par with its lead in and lead out on Saturday nights. 10 also had the option to return the show to 9:30pm Tuesday nights – its more traditional home and be paired with its parent, NCIS, but this appears not be happening.
In other news, 10 will return CSI: Vegas to the line-up this Saturday 11 March at 8:30pm. FBI: International will remain in the schedule and screen at 9:30pm.

10 were contacted twice for comment but did not return emails to TV Central, asking for an update on the final season of NCIS: Los Angeles
