Stan Weekly News Update highlights include Lucky Hank, Breaking Bad, Poker Face, BMF, Bel Air and Party Down

WATCH THE BRAND NEW TEASER FOR LUCKY HANK

Starring Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) and based on Richard Russo’s novel Straight Man, the brand new comedic drama Lucky Hank premieres March 20, only on Stan. The series follows Henry (Hank) Devereaux, Jr. (Odenkirk), a failed novelist turned unlikely chair of the English department of a mediocre college in a working-class town. Backstabbing colleagues, crusading students, a flirtatious protégée, and a wife reawakening to dormant ambitions all aggravates the mounting midlife crisis Hank experiences when his celebrated, philandering father returns to darken the shadow he casts on Hank. The brand new series Lucky Hank premieres March 20, same day as the U.S. and only on Stan.

BREAKING BAD CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY

Starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, the record-setting iconic series Breaking Bad celebrates its 15th anniversary. During its five-season run, the show garnered critical acclaim with two Peabody Awards, two Golden Globe Awards and 16 Emmy wins including Outstanding Drama Series. The series also led to a second critically acclaimed spin-off series Better Call Saul, the much loved prequel that successfully met the lofty standards of Breaking Bad. Every episode of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are now streaming, only on Stan.

STAN ORIGINAL SERIES POKER FACE IS NOW STREAMING

Directed and written by Rian Johnson (Knives Out), the 10-part mystery-of-the-week series features an all-star cast including Emmy® nominee Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black, Russian Doll), Academy® Award winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist, The Grand Budapest Hotel), and Emmy® Award winner Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Don Jon). The series follows Charlie Cale (Lyonne), a woman with an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. With her Plymouth Barracuda, she hits the road encountering strange crimes she can’t help but solve. The first four episodes of the Stan Original Series Poker Face is now streaming, with new episodes Fridays, only on Stan.

BMF RENEWED FOR SEASON 3

From executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and featuring Snoop Dogg, the Detroit-based family crime drama has been renewed for season 3. Inspired by a true story, BMF follows two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit to make one of America’s most influential crime families. BMF season 2 is now streaming with new episodes Fridays, same day as the U.S. and only on Stan.

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR THE BRAND NEW SEASON OF BEL-AIR

From executive producer Will Smith, Bel-Air is the dramatic reimagining of the iconic ’90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. After a record-setting first season, the series returns for season two, which picks up with Will (Jabari Banks) at a crossroads in his life when a new figure comes into his life and competes for control of Will’s influence. He juggles this while navigating his home life and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season. The brand new season of Bel-Air premieres February 24, same day as the U.S. and only on Stan.

Starring an all-star comedian cast, including Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Jennifer Garner (13 Going On 30), Jane Lynch (Glee), Ken Marino (Wet Hot American Summer) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), the beloved comedy series Party Down returns for a much anticipated third season. The revival picks up 10 years after the series’ last episode to find that most of the characters have moved on from catering, as they cross paths at a surprise reunion in Los Angeles. The brand new season of Party Down premieres February 24, same day as the U.S. and only on Stan.
