23rd Annual SPA Awards – Production Awards Finalists Announced & Voting Open – Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is proud to announce the finalists for the 23rd Annual SPA Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of Australian screen producers and the exceptional stories they bring to audiences locally and globally.

The prestigious SPA Awards recognise the incredible contributions of businesses and individuals across a range of production categories, including film, television, online, documentary, and reality. This year’s finalists reflect Australia’s screen sector’s extraordinary diversity, talent, and innovation.

This year 70 productions from 61 production businesses are nominated across the twelve production categories.

Matthew Deaner, CEO of SPA, said:

“The SPA Awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate the tireless work of our members, who consistently deliver exceptional screen stories for audiences in Australia and around the world. These finalists represent the very best in Australian creativity and storytelling, and we are incredibly proud of the remarkable talent and hard work showcased across this year’s entries.”

Winners of the 2024 SPA Awards will be announced at the prestigious Awards Ceremony, to be held on 8 May 2025 at The Star Gold Coast, the final day of SCREEN FOREVER 39, Australia’s premier screen industry event.
