Wonders of the World I Can’t See on SBS – Wonders of the World I Can’t See takes blind comedian Chris McCausland across the globe to explore some of the world’s most iconic, unforgettable world landmarks, but in a new and unique way that discovers things the ordinary traveller might miss.
Episode One: The Acropolis with Harry Hill
Chris and comedy legend Harry Hill are in Athens, Greece, to soak up some of the local culture. The ‘wonder’ they have come to experience is The Acropolis and its crowning jewel The Parthenon, but will Chris get as much out of it as Harry hopes?
With Harry providing a ‘audio description’ for Chris, they enjoy typical Greek activities such as sea fishing, pottery making, olive oil tasting, Greek drama lessons, and even try their hand at a few Olympic sports in the iconic Panathenaic Stadium.
