Michael Portillo continues his rail journey taking in the Isle of Man and the North-West coast of England. From Morecambe he looks out across the vast and beautiful Morecambe Bay.
Episode Four: Ulverston To Ravenglass
Michael Portillo is in Cumbria, enjoying one of the most spectacular coastal railway journeys in Britain, crossing the broad estuary of the River Leven by rail on a viaduct practically a third of a mile long. His first stop is Ulverston, gateway to the Lake District, where adventure is in store on the waters of Windermere.
