RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under on Stan – She’s a winner baby! Aussie queen Isis Avis Loren has been crowned the next Down Under Drag Race Superstar in the eagerly awaited final episode of the Stan Original Series RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 3, which premiered yesterday on Stan.
The crowning took place live at an intimate finale viewing party at Universal Sydney on Oxford Street with comedian judge Rhys Nicholson, previous winner Spankie Jackzon, Season 2 guest star, entertainment reporter Justin Hill and more all cheering on the newest member of Drag Race royalty.
Other famous faces in the community were also at the event including Carla from Bankstown, Alright Hey, Peach PRC, Mitch Churi and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under alumni such as Hannah Conda and Minnie Cooper.
This is the first time an Australian queen has snatched the crown, with previous winners Kita Mean (Season 1) and Spankie Jackzon (Season 2) both hailing from New Zealand.
Says Isis Avis Loren: “I’m so grateful to have been crowned the first Australian Down Under Drag Race Superstar. It just goes to show when you believe in your dreams and shoot for the stars, you can achieve anything!”
