Lucinda is delighted to discover the spacious new apartments feature not one but two bathrooms.
It’s a huge bonus considering her biggest fear about marrying a stranger was that she’d have to share a “sh–ter” with them. Crisis averted!
While Lucinda’s biggest issue is the dunny, other couples have bigger fish to fry.
Like Tori and Jack who are settling the matter that was raised at last night’s Dinner Party– aka the article that was published about Jack applying for MAFS while he still had a girlfriend, and lied to her about moving overseas for a job.
And while it seems like a pretty big deal to just about every other participant it’s like water off a duck’s back for Tori.
DINNER PARTY DEBRIEF EP 1:Â Dom and Ella’s explosive reactions to Jack’s ‘secret girlfriend’ rumour
Tori insists that her and Jack are “fine”, in fact they’re so fine she thinks they’re “superior” to the other couples.
“We are like a power couple… we are like at the top, we are number one,” she tells cameras with a smug smile.
Just in time to bring Tori back down to earth, Confessions Week is announced.
For those that need a little refresher, Confessions Week involves a series of tasks that are designed to fast track the couples’ connections.
In years gone by it’s seen some serious bombshells come to light. We’re talking participants airing their involvement in affairs and confessing they’re still in love with their exes.
Here’s hoping nothing as heinous is revealed this time around.
MAFS EPISODE 6 RECAP:Â One teary couple make a shock exit as a gossip article causes carnage at the very first Dinner Party
Eden and Jayden are the first ones to tackle a letter-writing task in which they must reveal something their partner doesn’t know about them yet.
“Jayden is pretty open so I’m not too concerned that there’s something crazy in [the letter] that I didn’t already know about,” Eden says. Ahhh, you spoke too soon Eden.
When it comes time for Jayden to read his letter he reveals that he… erm, there’s no euphemism for this.
Let’s try this again. Jayden reveals that after his ex-girlfriend cheated on him, he agreed to give her a second chance only if he slept with one of her friends and she watched. It happened.
Yowza. This is gonna be a hard one to come back from.
Eden wells up at the mere thought of Jayden’s “gross” confession. It’s even more triggering for Eden considering her ex cheated on her with her childhood best friend.
Just when you think it can’t get any worse, Jayden doubles down by saying, “I don’t regret it at all.”
Like the rest of us, Eden is absolutely flabbergasted.
“I need to go for a walk and see how I feel about it,” she says.
We think that sounds like a pretty good idea and we too might go for a stroll to clear our heads of that ghastly mental image. See you back here in an hour.
Only kidding, we have the rest of the episode to crack on with.
Eden doesn’t make it very far on her walk and makes a pit stop at Sara’s apartment.
She confides in Sara who is also rattled by the story. “I’ve never heard of anyone do that in my life before,” Sara says. And same Sara, same.
Sara does offer up some solid advice and she and Eden come to the conclusion that Jayden will have to show some remorse for his past actions for Eden to even consider sticking around.
We need some good news to lift the mood around here.
After their shocking Dinner Party exit, guess who’s back? It’s only Natalie and Collins
Natalie has had a change of mind after leaving the experiment, and we couldn’t be happier to see her stroll into Skye Suites.
“I’ve decided to stay in the experiment,” Natalie grins. But she has just one condition. “If [Collins] starts to do that surface level performance, I’m out.”
Collins is delighted but taken aback by Natalie’s return.
“I’m shocked and speechless,” he says.
The pair rehash their unexpected departure and Natalie says she wishes Collins would’ve been a stronger support.
“I was evidently very upset and very anxious… I spiralled” she explains.
For now, Natalie is going to stay in a separate apartment to Collins and the pair are going to take their relationship one day at a time.
Collins is stoked to be back in the experiment… whether he’s just as excited to be back in it with Natalie, we’re not so sure.
Self-proclaimed power couple Tori and Jack are ready to tackle their first Confessions Week task, the Phone Swapping Challenge.
The task requires the couples to go through the contents of their partners phones and yes, Tori will soon be eating her words after earlier awarding her and Jack gold medals for being the “number one couple”.
Tori goes straight to the photo app, she scrolls past a few of Jack’s gym selfies, scrolls some more and suddenly lets out an almighty “Sweet Jesus!”Â
What’s got Tori so flappable? She has stumbled across pictures of Jack proposing to his ex-fiancée.
“Why are these still on here? Get rid of them,” she snaps.
Someone needs to get Tori a bucket pronto because she “physically wants to be sick.”
“I feel like I’m gonna vomit.”

The phone swapping challenge could also wreak havoc for our loved up couple Andrea and Richard after Andrea finds texts from Richard’s ex.
But it’s not what you think.
After Richard sent a friendly “Bye sweetie” text to his ex, his ex replied in defence of Andrea.
“Don’t do that. Don’t disrespect your woman. I’m your ex man, don’t expect she’s fine with it, don’t get loose,” his ex texted.Â
Suddenly, Richard’s ex becomes Andrea (and Australia’s) new favourite person.
“It’s a good man that can still have an ex-girlfriend batting for him,” she beams.
Andrea and Richard get a full night’s rest thanks to a day of zero relationship problems and the help of Richard’s sleep apnea machine.
Timothy is getting no such thing as Lucinda keeps him awake with questions about his sexual desires and boundaries.
“Anywhere that a doctor tells you to relax is mostly out of bounds,” he quickly draws the line.
But when it comes time for the next task, Timothy says he would actually rather be subject to a prostate exam.
So what’s got Timothy’s knickers in a knot you might ask? The dreaded Photo Ranking Challenge where couples are asked to rank the other brides or grooms in order of their physical attractiveness.
And 51-year-old Timothy has big reservations about the task.
“It’s not age appropriate, I’m already 10 years older than Lucinda and then as I go down we’re looking at 20 to 30-year-olds and I look like the biggest f–king creep walking,” he huffs.
He flat stick refuses to complete the task and plucks out Lucinda’s photo and says she’s his one and only.
“She’s my wife, I know her the best and she’s a beautiful girl,” he declares.
Down the hall Richard should perhaps have taken notes from Timothy’s approach to the Photo Ranking Challenge.
He doesn’t hesitate to rank his wife Andrea third on the list among women 20 to 30 years her junior.
Richard thinks Andrea has taken it pretty well but the truth is Andrea is hurt.
“Everyone wishes their partner would put them first and only have eyes for them,” she confesses to cameras.
“It hurt a lot and I don’t know how to come back from that.”Â
Will this be the start of the end for Andrea and Richard? Only time will tell.
Tune in tomorrow night as Confessions Week brings some couples together and tears others apart.
