Married at First Sight on Channel 9 – It’s fair to say the Couples Retreat has brought more shocking twists than anyone could have anticipated.

And after days of stepping on eggshells, Sara and Lauren have finally found the right moment to tell Tori what they’ve heard about her husband Jack – and it’s anyone’s guess how she’ll react.

Stream every episode of Married At First Sight for free on 9Now.

Here’s a refresher.

Jack allegedly “lightly tapped” Sara’s butt when walking past her at the spa and then kissed her neck when apologising to her.

On top of that, Jack is also said to have told Sara’s husband Tim that he “has the hottest wife” in the experiment. But wait, there’s more!

Jack was also apparently showing photos of his ex-girlfriend to the other grooms to show how hot she is. Just… we have no words.

After Sara and Lauren dump all of that information onto Tori, Tori completely stonewalls. We don’t know if she’s sad, surprised, or if she doesn’t believe the girls.

All we do know is that Tori is either shell-shocked or has an excellent poker face.

“I’m genuinely still processing what was said,” Tori finally gives off some clue as to how she’s feeling.

“This just spells carnage, disaster. It’s just another battle, I didn’t know I was going to war, I thought I was going to find a husband,” she sighs.

When Tori fact-checks this information with her hubby Jack, he offers some sort of explanation for it all.

Jack says he didn’t kiss Sara on the neck, it was obviously just an accident amid the awkward dodge you do when you kiss someone hello.

“If I did brush her arse, it was an absolute accident. I can’t stand Sara and you know that,” Jack says, relaxed as anything.

When questioned about whether he said Sara was the “hottest bride” in the experiment, he maintains his exact words were that Sara is… “the most striking.”

Just what your wife wants to hear!

“I said she’d stand out the most, like a red Ferrari,” Jack says, as if being compared to a half-a-million dollar car is not the ultimate compliment.

Tori again has a completely deadpan expression on her face and is genuinely “mentally fatigued” as she suffers another blow in her relationship.

The couple really get to talking once they find refuge away from the cameras and Jack awards Tori a gold star for being so diplomatic while the cameras were around.

“Well done, good job,” he says, like a teacher to their pupil.

Tori isn’t loving the child-like accolades and snaps. “This is draining me of everything I’ve got, and I actually cannot do this for much longer,” she cries.

But as morning comes and Jack has had a few hours to pull the wool over Tori’s eyes, she completely changes tune. We’ve got to give the guy some credit, he’s a professional schmoozer.

“What the girls told me about Sara, I don’t believe that to be true. I know how Jack feels about Sara and I would be very shocked if there was any truth to that,” Tori restates her position.

She makes this oath to Jack: “My feelings haven’t wavered. I stick by you and I will continue to stick by you.”

Tori isn’t the only bride in distress.

We turn our attention to Eden, who has been awfully quiet this entire Couples Retreat.

Eden has been feeling “uncomfortable and anxious” after receiving a text from one of the other participants containing a “secret” bombshell piece of information.

MAFS 2024
The secret is too much for Eden to handle. (Nine)

It’s information that Eden didn’t want to know about, but now that she’s found herself with this scandalous secret she doesn’t know what to do.

“I’ve been put in a position where I either share the information and lose all the friendships I have in here, or I keep it to myself and then I probably lose my relationship with Jayden for lying to him,” she cries.

“I feel so guilty.”

Perhaps Eden you’ll feel better if you just tell us the secret? To lighten the load a little?

MAFS EPISODE 22 RECAP: One couple’s marriage is rocked by a ‘cheating’ scandal and shocking allegations emerge about one groom

But before we get a chance to hear what is weighing so heavily on Eden we’re yanked over to a shocking conversation that is unfolding between Sara, Lauren and Timothy.

Timothy explains that while himself, Lucinda and Tristan were lounging in the sun, someone strolled past and said: “I see the whales are here today.”

Any guesses who? You get 10 bonus points if you guessed Jack.

“What a pig, that’s disgusting,” Lauren reacts.

“To make that comment when you’ve got a few people who are body conscious,” Timothy shakes his head.

“I’m not sure who it was directed at but body shaming, it’s a pretty s–t thing. And as a personal trainer it’s a real s–t thing to say.”

While Tori and Jack are hoping to fly under the radar at tonight’s campfire drinks, the two Tims have other ideas.

Timothy and Tristan having formed quite the bond  – so much so Lucinda calls Tristan “the son Timothy never had” – and so the groom is feeling extra protective over his non-biological son.

With Tristan being open about feeling body conscious in the past, hearing Jack’s offensive joke was a step too far for Timothy.

Meanwhile, Tim has been under a lot of pressure from his wife Sara to speak up about Jack’s behaviour toward her.

After struggling to “meet [Sara’s] expectations” because of his non-confrontational approach, Tim is hoping this campfire will be his time to shine.

And shine he does.

“I’ve got a bone to pick with you,” Tim points the finger at Jack.

Tim oh-so-eloquently holds Jack accountable for making his wife feel “uncomfortable”, he calls out the butt-tapping and neck-kissing and tells Jack it’s “it’s the wrong thing to do and you know it.”

Claps all round for Tim who holds his own even when Jack tries to cut him off.

DINNER DEBRIEF 4: Dom and Ella are horrified by one bride’s ‘superiority complex’ and Ben’s shocking list of cons about Ellie

While maintaining that he has no recollection of any of the incidents and they simply must’ve been accidents, Jack apologises.

But noting that it must be ‘crap on Jack night’, Timothy just can’t keep his gripe about the “whale comment” under wraps any longer.

As Jack’s “whale comment” is aired out to the entire group, Jack faces the wrath of not just Timothy but every single person there.

Jack brushes it off as “outrageous banter” but the group is not having a bar of his excuses.

“It’s body shaming,” the crowd declare.

Lucinda sums the whole calamity up perfectly with an unintentional poem: “Jack, jack, Jack, that’s just a s–t f–ken stack.

“It’s one pit of s–t piled on top of another and none of us like it.”

With all the noise and booing, Tori has been silent. She’s “done with the whole situation” and sees herself out of the group.

Despite her earlier vow to “always stick by Jack” she’s on struggle street with this disaster.

“I’ve always said that Jack is not a malicious person but that comment is completely malicious,” she fails to find a defence for her husband.

“I feel like I look like an idiot because I’m backing him constantly.”

And while Jack turns to Tori for a dose of that “unwavering support”, Tori delivers him this blow: “I can’t support that Jack, I cannot support that.”

EXCLUSIVE: Jack offers an explanation for his shocking ‘whale’ comment

MAFS 2024
‘What am I going to do with him?’ Tori wonders. (Nine)

As Tori reaches her limit, Eden reaches hers too.

That’s right, we almost forgot she was withholding some secret scandal.

She runs away from the group and to the bathroom.

“They’re all going to hate me when it comes out, every single one of them,” she cries.

What could possibly make every one here hate her!? We hope you’re OK Eden but please spit it out!

Eden finally comes clean to Jayden: “Someone in the experiment sent me a text asking me to borrow some clothes…” Oh, that doesn’t seem so bad.

“Because she was seeing her ex-boyfriend for dinner.” Well, that makes it WAY worse.

“It’s Sara.”

Our jaws have hit the floor.

Sara won’t be smiling for much longer. (Nine)

Jayden puts the whole scenario in very black and white terms: “Even if nothing happened, meeting up with your ex partner behind your husband’s back is a form of cheating.”

“It’s wrong no matter which way you put it.”

And we bet Sara is glad she got some relaxation in at the Couples Retreat because come tomorrow night’s Dinner Party she’s going to be putting out fires left, right and centre.

Dinner is served at 7:30pm – you do not want to miss this feast.
