Postcards on Channel 9 – Join the Postcards team this week as they take a trip out of town and continue exploring Melbourne’s best new places to dine out, Sunday at 5.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Todd Woodbridge samples Gippsland’s wines and enjoys a cosy coastal retreat in Inverloch (Boonwurrung Country). To begin his day, he grabs a coffee from The Local, then checks into the RACV Inverloch Resort for a tour of the amazing facilities with hotel resort manager Carey Norton and a meal on-site at the Radius Restaurant. He ends his day with a tasting at Dirty Three Wines.
Shane Delia takes us to some of the best places to wine and dine on Flinders Lane (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country), starting with coffee from Chapter House, an incredible place that’s part of Melbourne’s neo-gothic St Paul’s Cathedral.
He stops by Number 100 for a wine and a snack before meeting his good friend and restaurateur Michael Tenace at the Italian institution, Il Solito Posto.
Meanwhile, Brodie Harper is up on the Sunshine Coast touring a dream home at Peregian Springs and exploring nearby Noosa (Gubbi Gubbi Country). On arriving in Noosa, she takes a walk down Hastings Street before stopping at the Season Restaurant for a beautiful beachside lunch. Brodie then shows viewers the latest Mater Prize Home on offer in Peregian Springs before checking out the Peregian Beach Hotel.
Back in Melbourne, Madeline Spark is in Prahran (Boonwurrung & Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). We find her at the fresh produce store and Italian eatery Oltre Alimentari e Cucina, just outside the Prahran Market. She then learns the ancient Japanese art of bonsai at indoor plant haven, Botanicah, before enjoying a traditional Sri Lankan meal at the brand-new vibrant restaurant, Hopper Joint.
